    In MGSV it's revealed that Venom Snake is just a body double of Big Boss and when Big Boss returns he'll take his place. But my problem is that Venom had a giant piece of shrapnel in his head and a bionic arm. Wouldn't it be weird if Big Boss started walking around and wouldn't people be like "Where's that giant rock in his head? What happened to that arm? "

    It just doesn't make sense and i can't get it out of my head.

    Edit: I'm halfway through MGSV and this is my first MGS game. Im still new

    I’m so proud of myself for beating mgs3 non-lethally on extreme… The only thing that I’m tight about is that the only time I used life medicine was against The Boss… but oh well :)

    Regarding the beginning of MGS5, the official wiki of Metal Gear says: "After awakening at a hospital in Cyprus in 1984, Big Boss was reacquainted with fellow Patriot founder Ocelot. There, Ocelot (under Zero's direction) suggested that he use a body double, Venom Snake, to distract XOF and the world from the true Big Boss; yet at the same time, expand his legend."

    Why would Zero suggest Ocelot to create Big Boss' clone, when Zero and Big Boss weren't on the best of terms during that time. Why would Zero want Venom Snake to emerge and therefore leave Big Boss to build Outer Heaven in peace? That same Venom Snake fought against both Cipher and XOF.

    I would like these questions answered.

    Just got done with my first play through of the game and holy shit. It's so good. I am in love with The Boss. She's such an interesting character and I want to do more research and learn like everything about her. All of the bosses are way better than mgs2 and they're all really smart. Like most of them are pretty easy but they made me think unlike most of the bosses in 1 and 2. Also the ending is just beautiful. I don't cry that often but damn. And I love that when you have to shoot her the game makes it look like a cut scene so you kinda just sit there trying to process everything. It's so beautiful. Thank you Kojima.

    Would you want it to be the HD collection version or have the enhancements of the 3DS version? Personally I really like the new additions to the 3DS version and I don't think they do enough to break the game but are useful.

    We know that Major Zero and Big Boss parted ways due to disagreements regarding The Boss' will. However, I'm not sure if I understood what each interpretation actually is, and I'd like to check it out with you guys.

    Zero's interpretation is that The Boss wanted a unified world, and in order to achieve that, it was necessary to control the world's military and population through Cipher and its AIs.

    Big Boss' interpretation was quite the opposite, since he believed the military should no longer be used as tools of political regimes. That's why he created MSF, to offer soldiers a place where they could live free, and to balance the world's geopolitics, avoiding supremacies.

    Is that it? It'd be great to have more insights 😁

    What should I play next?

    I finished mgs3 and now I'm wondering if I should play portable ops. Is it even worth going through the hassle of setting up a psp em or should I just watch a story video? Also while I'm here I heard that it might be better to go pw, mgs5, mgs4 instead of pw, mgs4, mgs5. What do you guys think?

    It's a simulation.... A simulation for what you should and should not say with rose. It's a boyfriend simulator except you don't get to make the choices and everything you do is wrong.... Holy shit SHE IS SO ANNOYING. Was Kojima 12 when he wrote this. Jesus christ I just want to save a game. "jack why do you hate me" "jack, do you know what day it is"? Nope rose I don't. Fucking tell me how awful I am so I can save and get on with this mission. I don't know if it's a culture thing but damn the worst part about mgs2 are these codes. Interrupting me while I'm trying to fight a boss. Fuck off rose
