    Is anyone else’s favorite version of Raiden the one in Sons of Liberty?

    What I liked about Raiden the first time he was introduced was how he had this "sneaking" side to him like Snake but also the ninja/sword-fighter side to him like he does in rising. I also liked how in a lot of the art he is drawn with the sword, so anyone looking for the first time would guess he primarily uses one. I guess you could call him a hybrid of gray fox and snake. What do you think?

    Did it surprise you all when you saw the trailer for MGS4? What did you guys think when you played the game and learned more about his condition?

    Personally, I think it showed how badass Snake is, even with all that vulnerability he still got to complete his mission.

    Or is it 100% over? I know Kojima probably will never return but I would love one more game. Greatest game series ever created.

    Please don't hate on me but I've never thought the young snake facecamo looks good in MGS4… he just doesn't look quite like solid snake in my opinion, I can't put my finger on what it is. Yet I think old snake looks like solid snake? I know, it's an odd one.

    It's almost as if young snakes face is slightly too fat, I THINK that's what it is.

    Replaying MGS1, still love it, but holy hell are some parts such a process.

    The amount of backtracking in this game is atrocious! Gotta give respect to old school game design. They definitly knew how to maximize value out of limited assets. Game is a work of art but there's no way these kind of game design tactics would fly in modern times.

    At the PAL key segment currently.... you climb all the way to the top, cross the top of Rex, deal with a gaurd, then Ocelot shoots the key all the way down. Kill gaurds, go back and cross Rex, climb all the way down into the drainage ditch and likely pick up a bomb that will kill you if you aren't paying attention.

    Climb all the way back up, cross Rex, gaurds have respawned... insert the key, go back, gaurd has respawned, cross rex climb all the way back down...

    Backtrack through a gauntlet of gun cameras that you have to chaff, back into the room you killed raven. Stand there for what feels like eternity waiting for the damn key to freeze.

    Back through the gauntlet of gun cameras you have to chaff, climb all the way back up... cross rex... gaurd has respawned. Insert the damn key.

    Go back, gaurd has respawned, cross Rex, climb all the way back down... back through the gauntlet of gun cameras you have to chaff.... again...

    Through the freezing room you killed Raven.... oh hey look it's NOW FUCKING FLOODED WITH A SHIT TON OF GAURDS... fuck it... just shooting my way through.

    Up two cargo lifts that feel that take forever to go up.... 5 minute codec call happens in the middle of it....

    Finally get to the blast furnace... stand in there forever to get the key warm.

    Back down the stupid lifts that feel like they're powered by donkeys.... oh did I forget to mention there's a gun camera between them you can't really see and have to chaff?

    Oh hey... another 5 minute codec conversation...

    Back through the freezing room.... using a grenade as decoy to rush through as I'm too paranoid the key will freeze...

    Back through the gauntlet of gun cameras you have to chaff... starting to wonder if Chaff grenades are just magically respawning in my inventory at this point.....

    Climb the damn metal gear again.... could have probably disassembled the entire thing bolt by bolt in the same amount of time...

    Cross over the top of Rex..... hey maybe I should just plant a C4 on the rail gun and blow shadow Moses off the map while simultaneously killing off Ocelot in the process who will only serve to be a global pain in the ass in the future....

    Oh look..... this fucking guy respawned again.... you'd think having a 100% mortality rate at this post there would be some level of word of mouth that it's a shit post that nobody should take a shift on... *snap goes his neck

    Go into the room.... little carelessly this time and set off the alarm... infinite alert, doors shut, gas fills the room, no problem! I'll just put my gas mask on..... it doesn't work..... wait..... when was the last time I saved?...... DUDE!!!... FUCK... M-..... oh thank God there's a checkpoint system in this game.

    The Phantom Pain movement speed

    Hello all,

    It's been a very long time since I've played TPP on PC. thinking about giving it another spin.

    There was always one thing that bothered me, the prosthetic arm upgrade that increases the running speed of Venom.

    Does any know of a tweak or mod to reduce it to the base speed? I know you can pick another soldier, but that isn't really the way how I want to go about it.

    Why during the sandstorm section is not possible to use weather changing artillery?

    Seriously the whole cobra bite and Pequod stuff could have been avoided if only Venom used a weather changing artillery to clear the sandstorm...

    Fyi Mgsv is my first metal gear game, 50 hours in and I just beat big robot (not even gonna try). Saw the end cutscene, roll credits. Sitting there thinking "damn, that was a good game, but the ending didnt make much sense" then, outta no where, there's a fucking trailer for "chapter 2". There's a chapter 2?? And it looks even longer then what I just played?? Im very surprised and honestly pretty happy that I get to see more of this game and use all the items and stuff I haven't been able too. I Hope it gets even better from here

    Why did Eva have to die? Like I know the foxdie that Drebin gave to snake at the start was engineered for Eva, Ocelot and Big Boss but I don't get why Eva needed to die? To make the patriots think liquid was a real threat?

    Also why was it engineered for big boss if he was still in a coma at the time as they wouldn't be expecting to lose and big boss' later release from the coma so why would it be necessary?

    About mgs 2..

    Metal gear solid 2 was hated upon its release but it was only considered one of the best metal gear solid and a masterpiece recently.a lot of that is because of it predicted(more like indicated) era of misinformation and control. So if it never predicted or indicated this things would it be still considered masterpiece? Is it only because of this whole content control and creating context thing people are loving mgs2 now and considering it masterpiece?
