    I heard this rumor about Sony shutting down supporting PSN not only for PS3, as well as PSP and PS Vita. One of those games on the PS3 was MGS4. While you can still play it offline with or without patches depends on what copy of MGS4 you own (I'm not 100% sure if I'm right or wrong, feel free to correct me in the comments). While theirs alternatives to play MGS4 like emulating on PC or pay to access online game streaming, PS Now. I think Konami should do this and it could take time to do it. I know MGS4 was made for PS3, but they can remake it by using a current Fox Engine or something for modern consoles and PC.

    What difficulty should I play the Metal Gear games on?

    I'm going to go through the games one by one for not only story reasons but to view the games on a mechanical level. I want to have fun and most importantly to me as a player, be challenged, not be frustrated. I remember playing the first Metal Gear Solid game a long time ago and after finishing it, feeling very sour of the game overall because of it having some really annoying and frustrating parts towards the end. And it was on Normal difficulty, I believe.

    I love games like God Hand or Devil May Cry 1 for how brutal they can be at times with their difficulty but still manage to be really fun and really rewarding once you understand them. And I've become really more open towards harder difficulty settings in games, in general.

    What is the best difficulty settings for MGS 1, 2, 3 and 4?

    first off it's my first time playing a metal gear game, i found it really difficult to solve some puzzles (such as meryl's number)

    ocelot said that if i don't yield and die i can't reload my game from the checkpoint so I immediately surrendered but he was talking about something called autofire too. what is autofire and can he really detect if I used it?

    Have not played for months maybe even more than a year. However I was trying to conquer some of these insane tasks in Ground Zeroes like complete a level with no kills or complete a level without being discovered....very difficult Im not hating on Metal Gear solid as It probably is my favorite game ever made. But his tranquilizer pistol is surprisingly accurate. I have had The Phantom Pain for more than two years and have not played it. I am still trying to get 100 percent completion on Ground Zeroes. I think I am near 45 percent. This is going to take a while. On another note Snake Eater for ps2 was amazing and so was Metal Gear Solid for PS1. I also liked VR missions.

    I've always loved Metal Gear and when I am with my daughter I would always music with no swears. And one day I was looking for instrumentals and spoke with her about how this could be done on the violin. She started 2 years ago and now she is playing the mgs theme so proud!
