    There's been talk for a few years that Hideo Kojima had drawn parallels between himself and Huey Emmerich in MGSV. Additionally, in MGSV GZ's extra missions, Kojima has a mission where you need to find the insignias of previous MG games, with Kaz making these mysterious comments, alluding to problems with Kojima and Konami.

    As I was going to sleep the other night, I was thinking about MGSV, dissociative disorder, and Huey Emmerich. I'm thinking dissociative disorder is a major theme in MGSV; the games just seem disconnected from the rest of the series. Thinking about Huey Emmerich, it hit me: Kojima modeled the Emmerich storyline after his own falling out with Konami.

    Metal Gear Sahelanthropus is a metaphor for MGSV (Huey: "It's not completed! It's not supposed to work without me...How are they able to use it?"). The Battle Gear that Huey completes is a metaphor for something similar, maybe the Fox engine? Huey claims he's doing the right thing and he's a team player, but he keeps fucking up and making things worse, and is finally exiled. Rumors had Kojima in a similar situation. He kept pouring more of Konami's money into MGSV, probably stating during meetings that he was benefiting the company as a whole, but in reality draining resources.

    When we are Diamond Dogs, we are Konami. When we are mitigating Huey's disasters and exiling him, we are Konami kicking out Kojima. Huey leaves and moves on with his life, and we are Konami, off to conquer the world.

    And oh my boss, what a ride! MGS series is one of my beloved but I have ps4 only for a year and MGS V was that game I know that when I start, there will be no other games for me. And after over 100h of slow Enjoyment I beat it. The ending was expected neverless the excecution was amazing. With that I finished Metal Gear 1, 2, MGS, MGS 2,MGS 3, MGS 4, PO, PW, Visual Novel and GZ with TPP. Now Its time for Acids and Rising!

    How i can have all difficulty related dogtags on a single savefile in mgs2hd?

    I'm trying to start a dogtag run on mgs2 HD, but the saving system confuses me a lot, i want to have a savefile where i can collect every dogtag in every difficulty but i don't know how ti overwrite It without losing the dogtags.... Do i have to finish the game First? I read something like i Need a cleared savefile in Red and overwriting on it

    Favorite Underrated Character?

    My favorite character in the series I think is underrated is either Dr. Strangelove from Peace Walker or Kyle Schneider from MG1 and 2

    What are all yours? I'm wondering if I overlooked any, if you don't know of one what's a character that you think had wasted potential?

    I have found a copy of mgs the hd collection and I'm thinking about getting it. I have played 3 on my 3ds and 5 on my pc and enjoyed them both. I want to play them as they should be played. Will I like peace walker and sons of liberty?

    This one always bothers me. Does Ocelot in disguise as Liquid Ocelot secretly avenging his beloved Big Boss, turning Solid's life to hell? Or it was just a part of a plan to reveal BB 's body location and he had nothing against Dave?

    Question about Twin Snakes?

    I am replaying Twin Snakes for the first time in 14 years and when I previously played it I had beaten the game twice, once with Octacon and once with Meryl, my GameCube memory card still has both files on them, a Octacon icon on one and a GreyFox/Ninja icon on the other.

    My question is why am I not wearing the tuxedo or have either the bandana or the active cameo device on my third play through?

    How a man who hides in a box saved my life

    Sorry to have such a depressing post but here we go

    I'm depressed with a low self worth and I feel nothing to live for. But when I had the gun in my mouth I thought about Raiden and Snake how much they went through and still kept going. In MGS4 Raiden claims he had nothing to live for and said he was disposable and no one would care. It was even raining the day he was born. But Snake counters this pessimism with optimism by saying "You were the lightning in that storm" and that really resonated with me at that moment. I put the gun down and went to reply MGS4 and realized how much more Snake has been through and still kept fighting. Solid Snake is one of my greatest role models in my life. Now I'm in therapy and on my way to recovery. Thank you Snake
