- Bought Revolver Ocelot on wish
- If Meryl Silverburgh would post on r/edc
- Thank you Kojima
- At the request of dear u/LaggyLefty. Really didn't wanted to do the coloring but my hand just went with it.
- I want to play mgs2 but I can't because of this disc in the corner is there any other way I can play it without buying another console (the second picture is what the disc looks like)
- Will the myth that MGSV is unfinished go away?

Will the myth that MGSV is unfinished go away? Posted: 13 Jan 2022 04:55 AM PST If Kojima ran out of a budget or time then Kojima is a bad director and producer. Being an artist is knowing how to craft something within the limitations you are working with. What does Kingdom of the Flies add to the game? Some people like to point out that there is this cut mission that gives closure to one of the minor characters as if somehow that means the game fails at getting across the message it wants to deliver without this mission. Leaving Eli and Sahelanthropus's fate open for future entries doesn't make the game more unfinished than MGS2 leaving Ocelot and Ray's fate open for future entries. I've seen people suggest that there should have been things like constant real time battles between the Soviets and the rebels. What would that add to the game besides likely the same performance issues that make MGS4 borderline unplayable at times? Feature creep is an issue in game development. A game is not made better or more "finished" simply because you keep adding more and more systems and make those systems more and more complex just for the sake of it. This is something a lot of devs realize when making their first few games. I've seen people claim the game barely has any story and then reveal that they ignored the cassette tapes. The cassette tapes are the story in MGSV. It's fine if you don't like them, but they are there, the story is there and it's told the way the game wants to tell it. Maybe not only you don't like it but you can also prove that it is an objectively bad way of getting the story across but that doesn't mean the story isn't there or that is not well written. If your problems with the game boil down to "I wish the game had x" it is because the game didn't overwhelm you and left you wanting more, I fail to see a reason why more games shouldn't do that. If your criticism of the game boils down to "I wish the game did y differently" try considering why is it that the game chooses to do "y" the way it does. Chapter 2 is in fact meant to be the way it is as evidenced by Peace Walker doing something similar for its final Chapter 5 Sidenote: I know it sounds ugly on paper when you point out that Peace Walker had five chapters and The Phantom Pain only has two but PW has a total of 26 original missions divided across 4 chapters (with Chapter 5 being the same mission repeated 7 times) It's okay to not like the game, but spreading lies about it being unfinished because you didn't like it is annoying. Kojima made sure to put his name at the end of every mission, this is not something you do for something you're not proud of having made that doesn't communicate what you think it should.
