    Rose only talks about April 30th 4 times in MGS2

    I hear a lot of people complain about how much Rose talks about April 30th in MGS2. But in fact, she only talks about it 4 times throughout the whole game. Yes, 4 times, which is way too few to be complaining about how many times it gets mentioned. And a couple of those times are save calls which are optional. In fact Raiden himself actually brings up April 30th on one occasion.

    I want to bring this up because, for one, complaining about this is completely unjustified, and I think many people miss the point of these calls completely. These calls are supposed to give Raiden hope to look forward to tomorrow and to complete the mission according to the simulation, which is really one major role that Rose plays in MGS2.

    Knowing modern gaming, it's probably going to be scraped entirely, but we need to build our own Diamond Dogs in support of a fully redone and cinematic Snake Tales. Also, playing Snake Tales on a difficulty that isn't European Extreme would be a novelty by itself.

    So, first round post got taken down so I guess we'll just end the elimination game here. Still wanted to share the (perhaps unsurprising) results from the first round. Huey is BY FAR the most disliked character, pulling almost 2/3 of the 300+ votes!

    Anyone play the original version of Snake Eater (fixed camera)?

    I've only ever played the Subsistence version of MGS3 so I've only ever known the 3D camera. I've just bought the original version for very cheap on eBay - because why not.

    Does this version suffer without being able to see your surroundings with a controlled camera or is it okay? I can imagine it feels like a completely different game.

    Question about the Legacy Collection

    Hey folks, I recently bought the legacy collection for the PS3. However, when I boot up any of the games, the opening cinematic will play as normal, then the equipment menu opens and no matter what I do I cannot exit the equipment menu. This happens on all of the games, including the downloaded MGS 1. The only games that are playable of the MSX Metal Gear Games.

    I haven't been able to find anyone else having this issue online, so I'm wondering if you guys have any advice. Thank you in advance!

    I like Raiden a lot as a character and I like the idea of spending a full game as him. But I don't normally play hack and slash games. Is it worth the money?

    So I'm pretty new, and I know there's online and offline GMP...

    But is it okay when one of the two is negative, as long as my total is still pretty high? Or will staff leave, etc. if either of the two is in the red, no matter the total?

    Is there a way to get the metal gear story without gameplay

    Growing up as an Xbox player I never got into the franchise now older with all the systems I'm going back and playing games I've miss I love splinter cell and thought this game is right up my ally but my god I can't play more then a half hour without rage quitting due to the controls why does every game feel like a clunk fest. Or what am I missing what am I doing wrong, any tips because it's at that point where there just shelf fillers
