    Hello, /r/metalgearsolid!

    So, I am gonna start with the fact that I never played the MGS game before. I was aware of the franchise, but I had very mixed feelings because of the comments I've read on the internet. A good chunk of time passed,and I saw Nick930's documentary about Metal Gear that got me interested in series. Fortunately enough, I have Playstation Classic and MGS1 was on it. So I started playing it. I won't bore you with technical difficulties I had (including losing my precious save), but I moved to emulator on PC. Started a new game save. And then, the heavens opened.

    I played this game through ,and I must say - it was an emotional rollercoaster. I was amazed of the whole setting, atmosphere and graphics. Gameplay mechanics hasn't aged well, but It's impressive, and even more impressive for 1998. I really liked the boss fights, even Metal Gear one. I spend a good 90 minutes before I beaten MG Rex and not without some anger management. I really liked the cutscenes - it felt like you are watching a movie, and you are in in. Immersive, well written and edited. It's one of those "wow" moments for me, when I realise that I am playing something historically significant (in gaming). And it carries through all the story. I was very reserved towards MGS, but I already love it!

    Now, I am gonna take a little bit of time, have a time to sink in what I just witnessed and continue the series. I want to play all of the modern games, even PSP ones since I have PS Vita. I am not sure how I am gonna play MGS2 and MGS3. My PS3 hasn't arrived just yet, and I am not sure if playing MGS2 and MGS3 on PS Vita would be a smart idea. Maybe I will get a PS2 for it.

    Anyways, sorry for a mess of a text I just posted. In short - I was very reserved towards the series, but now I fell in love with it and want to continue. If you read this, thanks for your time!

    So the other day I got the mgs legacy collection but mgs1 came on code instead of a disc like rest but it is a American code not a European one so it is useless to me. So if you want mgs1 on PS3 here is the code. Sorry if it doesn't work I got the Collection new not used so it should work.

    I managed to do mission prep a bit to well and now instead of S rank I can only get a " - " on C2W with the game holding my original B rank. I was attempting a full S completion, but managed to bugger it in less than 10 minutes, is there any fix?

    So I'm doing a play through and have a lot of like outfits guns, how do I make it so when I do a new play through I still have the same stuff, and like build on it if that makes sense
