    It's my favourite game series of all time. And the only things since MGSV that have quenched my gaming thirst on a similar level are RDR2 and Horizon Zero Dawn.

    Metal Gear is on another level. It's such a fucking mental, but fantastic story. I love the idea that you're a special ops soldier, you can go stealth, or you can go full blown massacre. And that's in general combat. Let alone when you're fighting a vampire, or a cowboy, or your fucking clone twin brother.

    Yes, each game has a fault/flaw. But the idea of the plots combined with the gameplay just hasn't ever come close to being replicated. It's like it's own genre.

    I loved MGSV - the open world worked brilliantly and the gameplay was so good. The ending could have been better but that's been done to death.

    I played Death Standing. Really enjoyed it. But it's not the same. And I'll play Silent Hill if it ever happens. But again it's not the same.

    I'm just so gutted that we'll never see a Kojima Metal Gear ever again. I hope he creates a similar game in the future.

    MGSV Injured soldiers.

    I was clearing the Mfinda Oilfield of comms equipment and I injured a soldier with a suppressed sniper. He was rolling around on the ground and usually doesn't bother me. What did though was the soldiers trying to help him. They were saying stuff like "Listen to my voice." and "You'll be ok!" It was so real, like a guy trying to help his buddy. His reaction after he died too.. just a quiet "Damn." Kojima is a master at creating these games and making them so immersive.

    I know that Snake was based on Mel Gibson, and Big Boss on Sean Connery, but I don't know about the rest of the cast (Fox, Miller, Campbell, etc.).
