Metal Gear Solid (1998) should have been made available on Steam since it has a PC port. Full stop.

    Posted: 24 Jul 2021 09:19 AM PDT

    Dear Konami,

You have a PC port of the game. Hired someone, preferably those who are passionate about the game, to fix the port and make it 100% playable without glitches and release it on Steam without the need of fan patches. Make it have full controller support for both the DualShock and Xbox controllers. Instant profit. Afterwards, you can think about porting the rest of the saga on PC. I am 100% certain it will draw money.

    Signed, a concerned fan.

Putting the skull on my right arm made the eye-patch on the left eye. So the tattoo artist changed the photo just a bit. I think it’s, “pretty… good.”

Kaz? today I definetly found guard voiced by Robin Atkin Downes, I didnt even know he was in this game, for those who dont know Robin is extremely talented voice actor, that played Medic in TF2, few villians in Uncharted series and most importantly our boy Kazuhira Miller in Metal gear solid series

So, if Liquid was the ''Superior'' clone and Solidus the ''perfect mix'', does that means Solid Snake even tho he is the inferior he is in fact the strongest of all 3 brothers?

    Posted: 23 Jul 2021 11:03 PM PDT

Pretty sure he beat the living shit out of Liquid in MGS1, played a big role in the fall of Solidus in MGS2 and defeated Ocelot in MGS4 for not mention all the staff from the old games. But the fact that he is still named the inferior after all this kinda bugs me out, he clearly outmatched all of his brothers.

Not my image but an incredible photoshop job of Kiefer Sutherland as Venom Snake. I think he’d be a perfect Venom/Big Boss for the live-action movie.

So, if you had to pick one game to bring to current gen out of the metal gear series. What game would you bring to current gen?

For me either mgs4 or mgs2

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain No Damage S Rank Main Ops 0-15 (No Commentary)

    Posted: 24 Jul 2021 07:38 AM PDT

    This mission was very depressing

    Posted: 23 Jul 2021 08:13 PM PDT

So do you count Huey a good person or not? ( Possible spoilers )

    Posted: 24 Jul 2021 07:56 AM PDT

Well tbh Huey isn't known by a good or even that bad of a person but rather he is known by cowardness, the things that he has done weren't really bad or at least not intentionally bad but the outcomes were usually bad.

Now do you think ( based on many facts ) that he is a bad person or just a guy who wants to do good but chooses bad paths?

He done bad things as well as being aware of them too, not to mention the pool thingy, kinda selfish tbh.

Who would win in CQC fight, Naked/Venom snake vs Solid snake

    Posted: 24 Jul 2021 03:48 PM PDT

I know that solid snake fought both of the bosses with guns and won against both but who would win if they decided to fight with CQC

This is my first time playing metal gear solid 5 and I’ve just finished shining lights even in death and I wanted to talk about it

    Posted: 24 Jul 2021 03:41 PM PDT

Now this is my first time playing and I still haven't finished it yet so no spoilers…

Now I really enjoyed chapter 1 of mgsv but I feel like me and the majority of people don't enjoy chapter 2 that much my reasoning is because I hate the "repeat" missions and I feel like it's just for padding and I don't like how you have to do 3 side ops or repeat missions to unlock the actual main missions but that's besides the point because I absolutely loved episode 43. I think just for starters I'm just gonna say big boss already looks badass but with the gas mask he looks even cooler even with that to the side the cutscene of opening the door to the quarantine bit not knowing fully what has happened is amazing and as soon as I stepped into the first corridor I knew this was going to be an amazing mission when you go up the stairs and they call out for big boss and when the guy shoots himself I was into the mission I was fully immersed and when you meet the scientist that gave you the message and all the soldiers start coming in and big boss shoots the first couple of soldiers I was like holly shit and then some start getting out and the bomb dropped I was absolutely mesmerised and then you take control of big boss and you start gunning down your soldiers and you hear staff member has died and as that rings through your ears whilst your gunning down your men gave me chills and I believe it's the last door you can go in before you complete the mission and there's so many of your soldiers there and they're saying big boss is here and everything and all I could do is gun them down was fantastically well done and you think one of them can survive and you have a little hope but even he doesn't end up making it and I don't think this mission would have been more powerful if you weren't actually playing it you're the one actually shooting your men not some cutscene you. Of course you get the iconic shot of big boss walking through the corridor and then has blood covered and he's kneeling down with all the bodies and then you get the shot of burning the bodies and Emmerich is yelling at you for killing everyone and big boss puts the ashes on his face and says we're diamonds to be honest it's one of my favourite missions or moments you could say in gaming and I haven't really thought all this out writing I've just been typing from just playing it but god damn I know people say mgsv's story isn't the best but this mission just takes the cake for me and I absolutely loved it.

I'm sorry if this was all over the place I just wanted to type down my thoughts on the mission

[Question] Is it better to play with or without the radar?

    Posted: 24 Jul 2021 06:19 AM PDT

I finished MGS1 for the first time yesterday and I was playing on Extreme mode and I really damn enjoyed it. Anyways, I'm booting up MGS2 and I'm wondering if I should continue my radarless trek through this series because of the extra challenge, immersion and suspense it brought to MGS1 for me or should I use the radar because it ultimately makes for a more enjoyable experience because the future games are harder/more built around it/what ever other reason.

I need some help on Sons of Liberty please

    Posted: 24 Jul 2021 01:02 PM PDT

I activated the node in the Strut C dining hall next to the room where Stillman is waiting in then I sprayed/deactivated the bomb in the women's bathroom in strut C but when I go across the BC connecting bridge to Strut B Transformer Room and then into where the next bomb is (behind the door) my node/radar isn't showing the guards

    What am I doing wrong?

Cannot give a good title cause it would spoil too much about MGS:V and the film too but a recent post inspired me, especially after seeing the Oscar-deserving movie!

    mmy favorite thing about PW

    Posted: 24 Jul 2021 09:04 AM PDT

i reaily like the fact that the game was centered around the post 60s part of the cold war, becuase for some odd reason most media (that i know of) only seem to be interested in the 60s part of the whole thing.
