    Im sorta new to mgs and mgsv is the first actual game I've played of the metal gear series. It is becoming one of my favorite games ever and I'm only 13% through it. Having a great time with this game.

    I've been playing MGS4 all day and it just got me thinking, what happens when my PS3 finally dies? I get it, there's the emulator, and a lot of people are working really hard to bring us MGS3 and MGS4 to the PC by emulation but I just wish they'd port everything to the PC and for preservation purposes as well. They can re-release it for the current gen as well if they want to.

    I know the difficulties of porting a game, what more a very old game. But we can wait, us fans can wait.. right?

    This is MGS we're talking about, We'd buy the shit out of a new port/remaster/collection.

    It's not about siding with Konami as well (despite the numerous controversies and flaws of the company), it's about saving the franchise we all love.

    They can work on it for as long as they want but I just wish they'd make an announcement, I wish they'd make it their goal to preserve those games/franchise.

    I was born in 1997 and I grew up watching my dad play the game, I would play MGS2 and MGS3 whenever he lets me but I didn't really fully finished a game until the release of MGS4. That was my first MGS game that I personally finished on my own. And since then the only time I got to play the older games was when MGS HD Collection was released on the PS3.

    I missed the merchandises that were released during the time those games were released as well, and now that i'm old enough and working, it made me realize how much I really missed out on a lot of MGS stuff back then.

    Bring back the comics, the figurines, and etc..

    I want my future son/daughter to experience MGS as well and I hope that one day they'll give it to us.

    I'm sorry for the sudden burst of emotion or rant. I just get really passionate whenever I play an MGS game after not being able to play for a long time.

    I hope someone from Konami is reading this, a lot of people are willing to experience it all over again. Please let us have this, it's been too long since MGSV, too long since MGS4...

    please for the love of god, release it on the current consoles and on the pc as well!!

    How come nobody plays MGO any more? It's a great game mode and slot of fun, when I first played the game in 2019 the serves where stuffed now they're aren't any servers. What happened?
