    Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on PS3 - worth it for the price or nah?

    I am a PC gamer, and have been all my life. Unfortunately, only MGS V and Revengeance (Steam) as well as Metal Gear 1, MGS1 and 2 (GOG) are on PC. Therefore, to play the other games, i am forced to use a PS3.

    I am wondering if you guys think this is a good deal?

    I think no matter how good these games are, $30 dollars is kind of a stretch for games released a looong time ago?

    Hi

    I just finished this game...

    In 2021, this games graphic ( for its own time ), gameplay, story, is massively good... I dont like the ps1 graphics, but this is the first time I actually understood the meaning of:

    games don't need to have high graphics to be good

    But...

    I would really like to see its remake, the metal gear solid is the true definition of "game"

    Most of the new gamers might don't experience the game because of it being old, but hear me out, this game is complete, by all meaning of it, it is the most complete game I've ever played, I've never wrote or said such a thing about any game, but this game is different, now I'm going to play metal gear solid 2 to continue the story...

    To every newcomers, don't mess it... this game is truly a masterpiece, even with its old graphic...

    Hope to see more of it in future...

    I finally completed all of the mission on S rank but the Elite achivement has not unlocked yet? I got the challenge award and the raiden skin but no achivement.

    Am i screwed?

    I’ve becoming obsessed with playing the games exclusively on European extreme difficulty and I gotta say what a thrill! The stealth gameplay really shines and is so much more rewarding!

    MGS3 Markhor Trophy - Missing Only One Animal: HELP!

    Hi I'm going for the plat for this game and I've gotten all trophies except the Markhor trophy (Capture all animals) and all 64 kerotans (must have missed one...or two or a dozen it doesn't tell you how many).

    As I have unlocked all the other category trophies for collecting animals, like collect all snakes, all frogs etc, I've got those so it's one of the animals not in category. I know I'm only missing one because it said on the ending screen 46 captured and i just loaded a save file and got the styptic medi plant and got the Capture all Medicinal plants trophy.

    So I'm only missing one animal, and I've tried looking and comparing lists online to my food eaten history in the cure menu but I can't see anything I'm missing. I'm losing my mind here, I just got done with MGS2 Plat and the VR missions (specifically the hold up ones enraged me like nothing else), so any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Animal trophies I've gotten (all of them):

    - Collect every type of medicinal plant
    - Collect every type of fruit
    - Collect every type of mushroom
    - Collect every type of bird
    - Collect every type of snake
    - Collect every type of frog - Collect every type of fish
    - Catch a Tsuchinoko (mythical serpent)

    Bought the GOG ports of MGS1 and MGS2 Substance for some nostalgia, and

    man this shit is feeling good. It's like I'm back to where I started. MGS1 was pretty decent on my laptop and didn't heat it up too much.

    Just started MGS2 and seeing Snake in a somewhat better HD form is satisfying. I'd recommend anyone here to buy the GOG ports of MGS1 and MGS2 cause they're not that bad.

    Anyone else here bought MGS1 and 2 on GOG?
