    Wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s checked out my MGS2 retrospective and all the positive feedback. since I’ve had people asking what’s next. Once I reach 1k subscribers I’ll do a poll and the next deep dive will be either MGS3 or MGSV.

    I was hoping you guys could help me out. Do you know what this type of blade is called? I know it’s a fixed blade (and it’s fictional since it’s a ‘stun knife’) but I would love to get a pocket knife similar to Old Snake’s. Any ideas where I can find one?

    Snake/Meryl subplot in MGS1 didn't age well...

    Just finished my replay of Twin Snakes. And after MGS4 Meryl and Snakes relationship feels really weird. Now even Otacon ending feels more canon, only issue is Mery actuallyl dies in it. Don't understand why Kojima made such forced romance and than dropped it in future games. It's also one of the main themes of the game so it's sucks that part of Snakes character development gets thrown out later.

    SOCOM Gun Build advice

    I would love to built my own SOCOM look alike. I have been around firearms pretty much my whole life but I am no expert on guns whatsoever (and all my firearms are long guns) so some advice would be great.
    It seems like for the gun alone I could go with the mk.23 or the mark 23 but these seem fairly uncommon/expensive. Since the USPs are based off the mk.23 and look similar, mostly just smaller, could I use some USP variant? Is there even a LAM that would match up with the USP for a convincing replica?

    How do I change my weapon load out for missions in MGS V GZ?

    I'm trying to figure out how to change my weapons from non-lethal to lethal, I forgot how to do that. Can someone please help? I'm stuck with the tranquilizer pistol when I need a different weapon

    [spoilers] two questions about the ending of MGSV...

    1) Before quiet leaves she speaks English, something she didn't do because it would infect the Diamond Dogs (and most importantly Big Boss) with the parasites and kill him. But Big Boss is totally fine for the remainder of the game? Why wasn't he infected and killed by the parasites?

    2) I understand that you can get quiet back on the roster by replaying the mission 7 times, but she also leaves at the end of the campaign. Is the canon ending that quiet left diamond dogs? If so, what happened to her after?

    This game was a little bit meh for me. The gameplay itself was solid and really cool at times, but story wise it's like it couldn't decide if it wanted to be a serious game or a silly one. This constant battle just meant that the serious scenes felt a little underwhelming and the sillier ones felt really out of place and stupid. Overall story wise it was pretty interesting, although I'm not a huge fan of how bleak the story turned out to be. Having everyone leave the base after a tone of death felt a little unnecessary to be honest.

    I'm replaying phantom pain and saw that if you complete all main story missions you can unlock cyborg ninja Bc I'm going for raiden I wanted to get cyborg ASAP so I completed my last mission sahelanthropus extreme and i went to develop the cyborg ninja skin and it isn't there I have completed all main missions including the bs ones like substance extreme and etc. can someone pls tell me why I can't find it???
