    Game keeps freezing each time I beat the virtuous mission or start operation snake eater in mgs3 hd

    So I have the MGS HD collection for PS3 (or is it legacy collection?) Y'know the package that comes with Mg, mg2, mgs2, mgs 3, pw, and mgs 4. Now I tried playing Mgs3 a few months ago.

    After I beat the virtuous mission and started the dumb surgery tutorial you get a call from zero and paramedic. Yet the game just froze, i could skip through the text and finish the call yet it won't let me leave the radio menu so I could go into the survival viewer, also I pressed select. It played the background noises of the jungle yet nothing happened, my control was fine. I did use a third party controller if that means anything, yet I've used that control for years and it works on every other game on the system. But there was this one time I did get past the virtuous mission and started operation snake eater. But literally the first call you get the moment you land and it freezes the game again, I can hear the jungle sounds and could skip through the text yet it won't let me exit.

    I could possibly make a video of this happening and see if it helps.

    And it's not my copy of the hd collection that's buggy from what I know, I've beaten Metal Gear 1 and Two, I beat Peace walker and I also just finished up mgs2. And it was with the same off brand controller as well.

    Now Recently I've beaten MGS3 by playing the 3ds port, it's Pretty Good 👉👉 but If I wanna replay mgs3 I would prefer to do it on the hd collection so this is why I've come to ask for help. Hopefully I get something that can help

    I know, I know, it's a forlorn hope at this stage. But does anyone else think that it would have been cool to have a Solid Snake story in these settings, complete with the codec and its ascociated cast?

    I mean, it wouldn't have had to be high art or anything. Just him destroying a new Metal Gear or doing random missions, but the familiar characters and enjoyment of seeing the old voice cast back would have really excited a lot of fans.

    It just bugs me that we have the retro skin of PS1 era Solid Snake, but an actual new adventure starring him - no matter how small - would be something the fans would really love.

    MGS3: How do you use the same save file

    So I beat the game and got the snake camouflage, I'm just wondering how do you use the same save file? I want to use the snake camouflage in my next playthrough if possible
