    Can I run MGSV on the Ultra Preset at a STABLE 144fps (NO dips) on this rig?

    Hello all of you beautiful people, quick question for you. Can I run MGSV without any frame dips at a solid 144fps at high-ultra preset on this machine? I'm running at 1080p.

    Ryzen 7 2700X

    RX 5700 (NON-XT Variant)

    16GB 2933MHz Ram

    1tb samsung evo 860 SSD

    I'm a huge Metal Gear fan and I'm currently playing Death Stranding and I'm on chapter 2. So far it's yet to hook me but I am interested in where the story may go. What are your guys thoughts on it being Metal Gear fans?

    Chapter two is so depressing. I swear I was crying for twenty minutes after Snake had to go to the quarantine platform and kill his own staff. The very last room at the end where they were all saluting to Snake hit me so hard. And then Eli being the little b*tch he is and the lovely scene with Snake and Quiet playing in the rain. My emotions are wild. I think this game has effected me emotionally more than any other.

    I don't have much history with MGS. I appreciate the games for what they are, and have enjoyed the bits of ones I have played myself. Just never owned my own copies. The top posts on this page make me ask, just how many Snakes are there? What is the difference?

    The worst plot idea was to make the pateiots AIs

    Discuss what plot element did you hate. For me it's easily mgs4 saying the Patriots were AIs but the original crew was the entire good guy squad in mgs3. I liked the thought of the wiseman's committee. I liked the thought that as they aged they passed on the mantle to their kids or others. Like how volgins dad passed the legacy to volgin. Surely the original patriots and wiseman's are out there with knockledge. Even if zero was a member I'll still be ok with that. I was looking forward to taking them down or potentially even if they had nanomahines became bosses with crazy powers.

    I still feel if konami make another game they can resurrect them. They can say the new wiseman's went into hiding in dear of zeros Patriots AI armies so they went underground waiting and planning for solid snake eva and ocelot to succeed in secret and now they must be stopped again by a new hero even.
