    I instantly stopped playing after this part, realizing all hope was lost. So you see this giant monster with no face, slowly crawling through the fog. He's big, scary, and mysterious. You start to think "Oh shit could this game actually be kinda good?" Then you get back to camp and whoever the fuck partner guy was explains that it's called the "Lord of the Dust" and that it kills people. The biggest thing this game had going for it was a mysterious monster, and they broke it in five seconds. You didn't know what this beast was, its goals, how it survived, anything. Now it's just a big monster.

    Ground Zeroes - How to use weapons you unlock?

    Let's say you unlock a sniper rifle by getting an S rank on a particular mission... How do I get to use that sniper rifle on another side op? Is there a way to do a "Mission Sortie" like in 'The Phantom Pain,' so you BEGIN the mission with the new weapon load-out, or do you have to locate the weapons somewhere on the base?

    Am I missing something totally obvious here... Or what? Please help! LOL

    Thanks in advance you guys, just for taking the time to read this and explain like I'm five how to play a game that I claim is part of my all-time favorite video game series... OOF.

    What's you guys thoughts on Twin Snakes

    My intro to Metal Gear was saying "who?" when he was announced for Brawl and grabbing his one and only game that could be played on the same system.

    It totally hooked me, the mix of deadly serious and overt campiness was a hit in my young eyes.

    But 1 was clearly a more groundedly serious game (not to say it was devoid of all humor). I guess I'm asking diehard fans; is shit like casually matrix jumping over a door too much camp or does it fit in with the universe at large (looking at you the some-what-but-maybe-not-as-bad over the top MGS3)

    Whatchu guys think about it?

    Hey all,

    I'm looking for any and all images of the MGS3 1911 for a project I'm working on. Between MGS3, the HD version, PSP version, the gun showing up in PW, MGS4, etc... there are some variations and I just want to see all of the variations. Hi-res images that show markings (like NM serial number on slide) are also appreciated. Thanks.

    Happy President's Day!

    Let's all take a quiet moment to reflect on our favourite President - George Sears, and all his accomplishments. For a start, how despite having a sword fight on top of Federal Hall and hanging out with a literal Vampire, he was still less corrupt than a large chunk of his predecessors (Looking at you, Harding...)

    I wonder if when BB came back in MGS4, he had to do a double take when he realised his boy became the President. I mean, most Dads would be proud, right?
