    Personally, until I got the hd collection I hadn't played a single Metal Gear game. I was always cognizant of the series, I knew of Psycho Mantis' Memory card reading, and how the 4th one had the world record for longest cutscene sequence in a video game. At that point, my mental image wasn't quite formed, but I remember the 2008 MGS page in Guinness Game records because my brain pulled a Mandela effect on me. Even now I remember seeing a sewer type area with 3 Snakes, one shirtless, holding rifles. But the sewer was on fire. Looking back after having played, I think what happened was I saw The Sorrow's boss fight right next to a picture of Solid Snake running through the sinking Tanker in 2.

    After that, when Smash Ultimate finally got me to look up Snake, I was introduced to a whole world of crazy. Based on information I had gathered while attempting to remain unspoiled, coupled with my own assumptions filling in the gaps, I imagined a world where The US and Russia both had clone projects based on their respective best Cold War soldiers Snake and Ocelot. Basically the name Liquid Ocelot clued me in to thinking that there must be a Solid Ocelot, Like Solid and Liquid Snake. And perhaps there were more varied clones past Solid and Liquid, Like Naked Snake, Revolver Ocelot, Venom Snake. Other weird things I built up was that I thought "Peace Walker" referred to original Snake's private peacekeeping force. I also thought Old Snake was the Original Snake. The names of MGS4's acts, Liquid Sun, Solid Sun, etc. Gave me the impression that Solid and Liquid were prefixes that held meaning to the world beyond Snakes and Ocelots.

    Man that was a lot. I don't know why I did this, but sometimes I reminisce about where I was compared to where I am now when it comes to this amazing series.

    Does the truck farm method still work on PS4? I got the game recently and am at level C for materials processing. I saw some videos but it said it doesn't work anymore in the comments :(
