Just finished Mission 43 (Shining Lights, Even in Death) in MGSV and I couldn't have had a more perfect time to have Demon Snake activated.

Does the Old Snake art from the MGS4 box art have a standalone image? I have been looking for a while and haven't found it. I'm wondering if it even existed as a stand alone or was only printed on the box art.

playing MGS3 with MGSV knowledge in mind

    Posted: 29 Dec 2021 01:48 AM PST

so after playing mgsv, we learn that Skullface was apart of secret support team made by Zero to cover Snake (without Snake knowing) the entire time during Operation Snake Eater. now replaying MGS3 with this knowledge is kind of cool and creepy in a way. all of the bodies you leave behind were cleaned up by Skullface and his team. all the ammo you find in random locations throughout the game were left by him so you could make use of. the fact that a maybe 4 man team is watching you without you even knowing is creepy to think about.

edit: this is an exert from Skullface's wiki page

"XOF was created as an unconventional support team to its fellow CIA unit FOX to help make it stronger and to provide support to its operatives, with Skull Face giving the orders. His first mission as XOF's commander was the Virtuous Mission, where he and a team of XOF operatives were to covertly follow, assist, and clean up after FOX operative Naked Snake as well as to keep track of his mission status, completely unbeknownst to the latter. After the Virtuous Mission was considered a failure, Major Zero was later given the green light to commence Operation Snake Eater. Needing insurance that the mission would be a success at all cost, Skull Face and a team of XOF operatives were again secretly deployed by Major Zero to Tselinoyarsk to provide covert support for Naked Snake."

so yes, Skullface and his team were in Tselinoyarsk with Snake to provide support

    Peace Walker online still active?

    Posted: 29 Dec 2021 02:13 PM PST

Recently got a ps3 recently and started playing peace walker. So far I love the missions that aren't boss fights. I've heard the tank and other vehicle fights just get bogged down by even more soldier later on and that just doesn't sound fun. I've also heard these missions are a lot better for co-op and was wondering if there's still an active community for that kind of thing, or even a separate sub for it like with the souls borne games. Also, do the fight difficulty's scale with how many people are playing? Thanks!

    And now what? [MGSV]

    Posted: 29 Dec 2021 05:37 PM PST

Yes! I finally did it! I completed all missions, got S rank on every one of them, developed the MGR Raiden suit, maxed bonds with all buddies, got all special soldiers, developed the Wormhole and got all the codenames...

And now what? Is there something i can do aside from the side ops? Or should i just abandon the game? I don't want to just leave the game like that, specially because this is overall my favourite game, but what can i do to not get bored?

Second sight is a game that feels like how I(a person who has never played mgs 1-4 but has played a little of 5) think mgs would be if it had supernatural/psychic powers
