    Are both MGS2 PC releases the same?

    So I'm working on a bit of a project involving MGS2 Substance for PC. Obviously the PC version has been pulled from GOG (and other PC digital stores) by Konami for right now, and we don't know when they're going to have it back. I was wondering if the initial PC release is the same as the current digital? Same goes for MGS1 and that physical PC release. Want to play the game on PC, but either way I kind of want to add it to my collection.

    On a side note, if they are different, can they both run on modern hardware?

    Cannot launch MGSV without internet

    Before I start I should give context, I live in a shelter where the internet gets shut off on a schedule. I get home from work after the internet curfew. Every time I start MGSV without the connection, it'll do its thing, then when I get the "failed to login to server" screen it goes black and will not load anything else. I have tried turning off the internet stuff on my ps4 and deleting save data (both were popular suggestions and the second one sucked). Deleting the save data worked but when I went to start it up again, it gave me the same thing. Is there any way I can fix this?

    Is it possible to farm for nameplates?

    100% completed the game a while back, but I've always wanted nameplates. I was wondering if you could just farm completions up to gold? If so, where could I go to find someone to help. I'm on Xbox btw.

    Why was Wolf nicer to Sam?

    When Wolf ambushes Sam, he was a little calmer and even apologized right before the fight started. With Raiden, he didn't care at all. Is it because his programming changed to make him more aggressive, or was it just because Raiden is a cyborg and he's more hostile to them?

    will the katana section in mgs2 work without a right analog stick?

    I recently found an original copy of mgs2 (hard to come by where i live) and i wanted to play it on original hardware. One slight problem though, my controller's right stick doesnt work. Will i be able to beat the katana section near the end of the game?

    it's honestly not a bad multiplayer mode. playing it steady for a while now and it's been a fun experience. usually the severs are dead but when you find a full lobby it's the best. matches are fun and surprisingly, stealth is actually useful. besides the player base being quite small, i see no flaws. the controls for MGSV were already my favorite in any third person game, so just being able to use them in a competitive way is just great. those are my thoughts so i'd love to hear why you dislike or like MGO3

    I just started MGSV TPP and I have no idea what all this supernatural stuff going on is about. Am I suppose to know what all this is?

    My last (and only) MGS game was 4, Guns of the Patriots and that was like 15 years ago lol I don't remember this kind of sci fi or supernatural elements in 4.

    I got to the metal gear boss while being on class 2 which means I can only carry 10 explosives. Can I just no longer beat the game now or is there a way I can get back to class 4 so I can carry 16?

    I just got a center speaker and was reviewing my MGS4 audio settings.

    I am very confused on what these settings do. -->

    Under Audio Video I see an option for "incoming codec output device" it selection says "standard". That entire line is faded out like it is a not valid option. The note for that setting says (set the output device for the incoming real-time Code message heard during the game" External output volume is get to 5. The note for that setting says: "Adjust the volume level when " Incoming output" device is set to " External".

    ... What the heck do these setting do?
