    I’ve kind of accepted that I’m never going to get the chance to play an official remake of MGS1. But every now and again I come across images that make me think how amazing that experience would be. These images are by Justin Wentz.

    Not very versed into the MG lore, but why exactly do these giant chicken robots make cow noises and why do they bleed and throw up?

    Hilarious! He is bitching about the controls a lot and comparing it to V but I am vicariously living through him. It's so cathartic lol hopefully he doesn't rage quit.

    I like to play solid snake non lethal, watching the briefing before mgs1 he doesn't even wanna be there lol. I even play mgsv non lethal even though your supposed to be a bloodthirsty demon out for revenge

    A long shot I know, but does anyone remember the song from the Mitchell Hammond anime compilation?

    I know this is kind of out there, but if anyone recalls Mitchell Hammond is the Youtuber who started work on a Fan made anime of Metal Gear. He has since made private all of his videos due to people taking and re-uploading his work without giving him credit, which I completely understand. Several have added MGS scores and sounds to make it more fleshed out. One of these had a song with was a remix of the Policenauts theme with some of Snakes dialogue added ("You have to allow yourself to fall in love" If memory serves.

    The video this was in was long ago taken down, but someone had uploaded the song with MGS Cut Scenes and I had made sure to add it to my Youtube MGS playlist. However the user has since deleted his account. Every time I search for "MGS Remix" or "Policenauts theme" or "Solid Snake Trap music" I cant seem to find much.

    I really want to put that song back into my work music mix.

    Can someone help me to (maybe) avoid a huge frustration with MGS4?

    I'm currently playing MGS4. At the moment, I'm fighting the FROGS in Act 1.

    MGS4 is my least played game of the series, and this is the first time I'm playing it with an unofficial controller WHICH DOESN'T HAVE the "Shake" ability.

    I can't "disable" the OctoCamo during cutscenes (something I used to do with my previous (broken) official controller).

    Thinking ahead, I fear that the battle with Screaming Mantis in Act 5 will be impossible to pass, due to this missing "shake" ability, which is essential to win the fight.

    Will I be able to pass through that boss fight without the motion thing? If not, I'll stop playing right away.

    I love the positivity in this sub and watching you all play MSGV has me trying for 100% on a save I got to 85% about a year ago. I have a question about 100%: I know you can't use special items for an S rank but can you use them for miscellaneous mission tasks? Rescue this guy listen to that conversation? Is it possible and furthermore do y'all think it's cheating?
