    Hi guys. I'm playing MGS1 on the PlayStation mini. Stuck on Psycho mantis. How tf to beat him without thermal goggles?

    I didn't find any thermal goggles in the game area I'm in..only night vision. I'm to I guess the last portion of him, his health is lower, he already tried to get Meryl to kill herself. (I did the port 2 so no mind reading)

    I'm at the point where he pops up for a split second, throws an invisible ball at you and disappears. It's almost impossible to beat him this way, as even low crawling, the ball hits you.

    I'm sure this question has probably been asked a thousand times but I'd like a response that is up-to-date. I completed all the missions in the game and I don't want to go through the whole FOB farming thing to get S++ soldiers because that would take years. So can I use the S++ mod without a risk of getting banned?

    Would anyone be interested in a Twitch speedrun from level 1 through to the end?

    For reference I am a top 600 Espionage/ top 100 PF rating player on PC for MGSV who has 100%ed the game to include all of the challenges. I was wondering if anybody would be interested in a speedrun on a weekend of all of the levels. I would be doing this with no restrictions and the simple goal of completing all levels as fast as possible. My estimation is that it would not take more than 5 hours or so.
