    Two days ago I finished the final chapter to one of my most beloved franchises. Metal gear solid 4. The ending of the saga had me in tears and feeling many emotions. And I can't help but feel immense gratitude to the way it's changed me and the effect its had on me. This is good... Isn't it?

    Hello. After not playing for a few years, I'm starting the game again and am looking to get the platinum trophy. I have the latest patch but declined the EULA so that I can play offline. I've beaten the game once. I've read a few thing about certain missions glitching if certain conditions are met and I don't want to lock myself out of any trophies on Playstation.

    Is there anything I need to keep in mind while replaying the game so that I don't accidentally lock myself out of a trophy? Thanks.

    Anyone else have this issue? GameCube Twin Snakes Disc 1 seems to have cracked or nerve looking stuff. Doesn't show from the bottom of the disc. Only the top. Seems to stall at the memory card check.

    Didn’t finish MGSV when it came out. Want to start over. Should I just start a new game or keep my current save and replay the missions from the start?

    Might seem like a silly question but I don't know if I'd miss out on anything by replaying missions instead of starting over. Maybe I'd miss out on some cutscenes or whatnot that way or maybe it won't be as immersive in some other way I have no idea. I do remember going out of my way to unlock specific items and weapons and an easier play through would probably be ideal for me since I'm not looking to be challenged too much. Just want to go through the story from the start (and hopefully) to end

    My Opinion on the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake

    When I heard that MGS 3 was getting a remake, I was pretty disappointed. Because MGS 3 doesn't need a remake. It still holds up as an amazing experience. The graphics are a bit dated, but everything still plays super well.

    Why haven't they remade the first two Metal Gear games? They are super important as they give context to Solid. Such as Gray Fox, Miller, Big Boss, Solid Snake's personal development. It's basically free money. I'd buy those remakes easily.

    I'd imagine Metal Gear being like Snake Eater. Being a survial stealth game. Where you have to acquire everything on sight. It's also further parallels Big Boss and Snake, further bringing about the themes of legacy and repeating cycles.

    Out of all the games, those two need to be remade for modern audiences getting into the series. And for old fans getting to see the first two games brought up to modern standards.

    That's why I don't like the fact that Snake Eater is getting remade. It doesn't need a remake when it still holds up to this day. Still, I hope that they're using this remake as a test for possible Metal Gears 1 & 2 remakes. Because I see no reason not to remake them.
