    I finished MGS1 for the first time yesterday. The "Naomi's brother" twist fucked me up.

    Having recently got into MGS, after playing MGS3, Peace Walker, 5, and part of MGS2, I decided to get Duckstation on my PC and play through MGS1.

    I knew about most of the plot twists. I knew who Grey Fox was, I knew that Snake and Liquid were clones, I knew Ocelot was a double agent, I knew Miller was actually Liquid, etc.

    The only twist I had no idea about was Naomi's big brother, who she mentions tried to raise her, was Frank Jaeger. I was fucking shocked when I heard it, and the best part was that it made total sense. Naomi constantly criticizing Snake and acting as if he has no compassion made far more sense once you realize that he killed the 2 people who were the closest thing she had to a father. The way she always seems uncomfortable discussing Frank Jaeger's death makes a lot more sense given the relationship she had with him.

    It's a really good fucking twist, and this comes from someone who can usually see them coming a mile away. I'm surprised I haven't seen it discussed before.

    I recently got into the mgs solid franchise and I've been playing through mgs3 on my old playstation 3, however my controller was broken so I bought a third party controller for just over ten bucks, and whenever I try to perform a cqc action like chokeholds it just performs a basic punch attack, am I doing some wrong or should I just shell out for a standard ps3 controller.

    From what I understood, in TPP he obeys the person in the vicinity who was the highest thirst for revenge/anger.

    So why didn't he latch onto either Snake or Miller when they we're about to kill Skull Face? There's no way in hell Eli was anywhere near Miller's level of rage for what happened in GZ.

    Blade mode too inaccurate to hit sundowners shields

    I don't know if it's my controller or not but I can't beat sundowner if I try to aim to long the blade mode line won't swing and just starts flickering in the middle of the screen and whenever I try to do a horizontal cut as the first hit it always does a vertical one instead
