Who’s is your most liked non-playable character in the series? Posted: 18 Sep 2021 11:20 AM PDT Obviously if it was playable there would be a lot of Snakes in the grass. With an occasional Raiden sprinkled in I love Otacon. His handshake with snake in MGS2 almost made me cry. Anyone else love how MGS2 did the character swap? Posted: 18 Sep 2021 03:52 AM PDT So i'm replaying the MGS series, i just wanted to make a post about how well it's done. Because yes, you aren't playing as solid snake, but still solid snake is still a very important part of the story, i just think holy shit, it was done so masterfully, games these days have started doing these "OH YOU THOUGHT YOU'D BE PLAYING THIS CHARACTER!"....but MGS2 did it so tastefully. You are not solid snake, but snake is a big side character in this story and is your buddy basically. I know it got a lot of backlash back in the day(I always liked raiden), but i just wanted to say how well it's done in a way that it doesn't just throw away SS to the side and pretends he doesnt exist.
