    Just a nice chat of you're experience to Metal Gear Solid. Oh and Spoilers to anyone who hasn't played MGS4.

    So I'm 8 years old at this time, playing Metal Gear Solid 1 for the very first time on my uncles ps1. I've played games before but That was the game that made me fall in love with gaming. From there, Every time a MGS game came out I bought it. Held onto it like it was the holy grail. Fast forward another 8 years, MGS 4 comes out. At this point in time I was 16, no computer or even the internet wasn't as big as it is now, so I never rewatched anything from the old MGS games and every game is in the back of my mind, never thought of again. So I'm playing MGS4 and when I got to ACT 4…. I got the biggest mind blowing nostalgic moment ever. The mention of Shadow fucking Moses. I gasp when I heard it. And the it fucking put me right in the PS1 level from all those years ago. I think I almost teared up. I even remembered exactly what to do. A memory that got ripped from the back of my mind straight to the front. The sounds, the noise, the alert, the goddamn cameras. Everything in it. And how can it be better? They put me right back in Shadow Moses as Old Snake and the second you stand on that hill overlooking the base. I legit got so damn emotional. Back to where it all began for me and Snake. Cameras falling off from rust, the Call backs and voices in the air when you go to a certain area. I suddenly just remembered everything again when I was just 8. I'll never forget it. Best gaming moment ever!

    What i wish Phantom Pain had done with its inherent title play on words

    Phantom Pains title is a refrence to phantom pains of phantom limb syndrome. People still feeling, in motor detail and sometimes in pain, the limbs that they lost or never had.

    this is an evident plot point in the game with it focusing on this anguish of Kaz and Venom losing their limbs, and growing old.

    Maybe this would have been a thing if the game was fully completed, but i wish there were a level wherein eli, the parasites, or skull faces unit stripped Venom of his prosthetic for a few missions for kojima to go into detail on this loss, both in the mental aspects and the physical aspects.

    like aiming down sights would now be impossible, venom would have to fumble with two hand hand items before giving them up, mobility would be hindered, cqc would have to change yada yada and i feel he could have done a whole 20 minute kojima trademark cutscene on it
