    Anyone else freaked out when they first saw the Gekko in MGS4?

    I know this question sounds dumb when you think about it, but

    When I started MGS4, as usual I was expecting some sort of Metal Gear to pop up, because that's what you should expect from a Kojima game, right?

    But nooooooooo, Kojima pulls a one-up on us and guess what?

    We get these hybrid abominations created by AT Corp, the Gekko.

    What in the celestial kojima-verse fuck is that? It's like an animal, but it's fucking bipedal like Metal Gear but more versatile and maneuverable, like wtf? They're fast, agile, have an advanced ai, heavy af armor, and the worst part is they fucking MOOOOO, liked they're trying to scare you or something.

    All I'm saying is, I was terrified, and I wonder if anyone else here was too, when they ran into the Gekko for the first time.

    Think I noticed a big oversight in Phantom Pain

    Hello, its the guy playing Phantom Pain for the first time again. Earlier today I finished a mission and received a few tapes containing conversations between BB, Ocelot and Code Talker. In one of them, they were wondering how the infection of the vocal cords parasite arrived at Mother Base to begin with. At some point, Ocelot says this:

    "Skull Face said the remaining English parasite was close to the Boss." (check it out)

    At the time I was like "uh, wtf? When did this happen?". There was no scene whatsoever where we even saw Skull Face talking about anything related to the vocal cord parasite. Keep in mind I got this tape after I rescued Code Talker (after the mission where I have to fight the skulls when they bring down the chopper).

    I kind of just forgot about it and kept playing. A few minutes ago, I finished mission 31 (destroying Sahelanthropous), and in Skull Face's last words, he told BB that the final parasite was "close to him". And then it clicked. Did that tape literally just spoiled a future mission? Like, wtf, why did I receive it before I even got to this scene? What the hell. Kind of scared to listen to any other tapes I get now, maybe this will happen again.

    Anyone else noticed this?

    MGS V TPP: question about mission 45

    I've just finished the mission and I even managed to get an S Rank first try, but I have one question: Quiet remained quiet for the whole game to avoid infecting people (I still don't get why she couldn't just write or do some sort of sign), so why Boss didn't get infected when she started talking English?

    Maybe I'm missing something, and if it's explained later or after the final mission, just tell me that and I will find it out by myself.

    (can't wait to see the "truth" in the final mission) :)

    Gavials in MGS3

    I'm about to start MGS3 for the first time but I'm shit scared of crocodiles and all their lookalikes (although gavials don't seem as bad), so I was wondering how prevalent are they in the game?

    Are they just in a few sections or are they all over the place?

    How do I abort MGSV Mission 45?

    I want to go back to ACC to change my gears but the option to abort the mission isn't there. I also tried running out of the mission area, but it just gave me a game over. I had fultoned the container there prior to the mission so I can't use that method either. What do I do?

    What country/region should I pick in MGSV if I'm from Puerto Rico?

    I'm arguing whether to pick "United States of America" or "Other Latin America". Which one would be best if I'm from Puerto Rico?

    [Update]: I chose "United States of America" which led me to a section for choosing the territory of residence and it includes "Puerto Rico".
