    What I noticed when I making this video, somehow the Gamecube version smt is missing, Somehow the ps1 version is much sadder, emotional then Gamecube version. This is my opiniom, what do you think?

    How many prisoners and skilled soldier extractions are at okb zero ?

    I'm trying to do all side ops and I've done so many at okb zero and it keeps saying prisoners extraction 19 , but when I go and do the same mission again it's still at 19. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thanks

    I created "Metal Gear Solid Key Plot Points For Babies" and thought I'd share. However, I am still not 100% confident. I say "Key Plot Points" because it would be boring to write literally everything that happened. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on something, I probably am lol.

    Metal Gear Solid 3: The Boss was on a mission to recover a sum of money called the philosphers legacy. Volgin fired a nuke, and the parameters of her mission changed where she and her WWII unit called The Cobra Unit had to die by Naked Snake's hand in order to prove America's innocence. Big Boss and his friend Major Zero are appalled at how a soldier was treated like a political tool. However, their ideals eventually differed. Big Boss believed that creating a nation of soldiers free of government tyranny was how they should honor her. Zero believed that the world should be united under one rule. They both went their separate ways. After that, a project of cloning Big Boss occurred since the US government believed he was the greatest soldier of the 20th century. The clones were Eli, George, and David also known as Liquid, Solid, and Solidus Snake.

    Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker: It is the 1970s, and we see the early stages of Big Boss trying to honor The Boss. This game shows the creation of MSF, or Soldiers Without Borders. Big Boss and Kazuhira Miller drift off from skirmish to skirmish until they meet a spy named Paz Ortega Andre. He also creates a nuclear weapon, as well as battling another version of Metal Gear when it turns out Paz has gone rogue. He also recruits a child soldier called Chico and meets the father of Hal Emmerich called Huey as well as his mother Strangelove.

    Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes: A branch of the patriots called Cipher and led by SkullFace (aka XOF) destroy MSF while Big Boss is on a mission to rescue Chico.

    Metal Gear Solid The Phantom Pain: MSF is renamed to Diamond Dogs and Big Boss's Medic goes on mercenary missions alongside Ocelot and Miller in Afghanistan with the intention of expanding their empire once more. After they have completed that goal, the gang takes their revenge on Skull Face, the leader of XOF.

    Metal Gear: Big Boss is using Outer Heaven, a military base, and a Metal Gear prototype as a means of taking down the Patriots. Venom Snake uses Solid Snake as a necessary sacrifice hoping he dies and that he can tell the US government that is spying on him that he is NOT creating the nuclear weapon. Thus, begins Operation Intrude. However, he underestimated Solid Snake and he destroys Metal Gear as well as Venom. NATO then carpet bombs the whole place into oblivion.

    Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake: Once again, Big Boss has formed another military band with the purpose of honoring the boss. This time he is in Zanzibar Land and he is plotting to plunge the world into endless chaos and war so that his military nation will always have a reason to be active. "Conflict will breed conflict. New hatreds will arise" to quote Liquid Snake who imitated Big Boss. This is where Big Boss completely became a villain since he has gone rogue with his ideals. Gray Fox likes that idea for some reason, so he became Solid Snake's enemy. Solid Snake defeats both of them as well as the Metal Gear. Big Boss's genes are stolen from him to create Genome Soldiers.

    Metal Gear Solid: Liquid Snake and his FOXHOUND unit have gone rogue, and are plotting to launch a nuclear weapon. Liquid has the same ideals as Big Boss, and is doing this out of hatred for Big Boss since he admired Solid Snake more than him. It's basically a warped kind of love and hatred. Snake is sent to save a bunch of VIPs who mysteriously die of a heart attack as well as Colonel Campbell's daughter Meryl. (Meryl however, does not die.) It is because of a virus called Foxdie that The Secretary of Defense and Naomi planted on Snake before he went to Shadow Moses. Campbell was blackmailed into sending Snake there by the Secretary and the President who were working with Ocelot to recover data on Metal Gear. Plot Twist after plot twist. Snake and Meryl defeat all of Liquid's goons and ride off into the sunset.

    Metal Gear Solid 2: Solid Snake and Otacon (aka Hal Enmerich) start an organization called philanthropy dedicated to the eradication of Metal Gears. Snake infiltrates a Manhattan Tanker hoping to expose the existence of the Marine Corps Metal Gear Ray. However, he is thwarted by Ocelot and then is left for dead leaving behind an oil problem which is the excuse for creating The Big Shell. (Another reason is that it houses the nuclear weapon Arsenal Gear.) A new operative called Raiden is sent to the Big Shell to stop terrorists from using a nuclear weapon and saving VIPs similar to what happened in the Shadow Moses incident. It turns out that his mission was meant to simulate Shadow Moses by the patriots. Raiden idolized Solid Snake, and the patriots used Raiden's respect for him as an example that they can control and distort information. After Raiden completes his role as their pawn, they use this data to start controlling people on the civilian level. It is the basis for a newly made war economy. Solidus Snake and Ocelot remain loyal to Big Boss, and then Raiden defeats him at Federal Hall.

    Metal Gear Solid 4: This is the final game of Kojima's saga. Solid Snake and Raiden go on one more mission to destroy Ocelot and the patriots for good. Along the way, Snake meets other previous characters since the game is basically fan service. Solid Snake is rapidly aging due to genetic factors in being a clone. Both Ocelot and the patriots are defeated by the end, and Solid Snake retires. We then see the end of the war economy the patriots have created in MGS2, and people can finally relax again.

    MB staff dying even after quarantining Kikongo speaking members

    Is it normal that they keep dying? I separated about 250 Kikongo speaking members as soon as I was told about the epidemic and Ocelot or Miller even commented that the infection rates have plumetted. I'm continuing to check members who join after leaving the brig but are the deaths supposed to stop 100% if I'm doing everything right?

    What a trip!

    I had all of the cutscenes from this game as video files on PC when I was younger and I always loved them, especially the one when Gray Fox fights Rex, but I never had a Gamecube around long enough to play it. I was a big fan of Sons of Liberty at the time though and I bet I would have loved this too if I had the chance.

    Playing it now, I had fun but it's really weird to me how faithful they chose to be to the level and guard layout from the original. Some basic additions would have been nice, like adding in doors for guards to be able to enter and leave areas so that the ALERT team doesn't simply spawn around you. A bit more overhaul to the bosses would have been great, too. I got excited during the tank fight because of how much they had updated it, I assumed the other fights were too. Not the case unfortunately.

    Gameplay weirdness aside, it was pretty cool to see a third imagining of Shadow Moses, even if it was sort of through the lens of Sons of Liberty. Makes me wonder how a modern remake of it, Big Shell, or Tselinoyarsk would fair.
