    After the Mission 43.

    This game is a masterpiece. After you finish mission 43 Venom Snake starts to wear a Diamond on the DD patch, such little details is why I love this game.

    The subject of whether Portable Ops is canon or not is a reoccurring debate among Metal Gear fans. Basically what I've heard is, some parts of it are canon and some are not. Sokolov made an appearance in that game, who presumably died in MGS3. Did he actually die, or is him surviving what's canon?

    anyone else having a problem playing mgsv on steam?

    i tried to play and i get stuck in a loading loop of logging into server i cant get support as steam support cant help with other developers games and konami no longer does support for mgsv the reason i believe this loop gets stuck is i lost connection whilst mid game yesterday ive tried a fresh install and nothing

    Why did Ocelot do that in MGS4? (Spoilers)

    One thing i never really understood was why Ocelot had to pretend to be Liquid in MGS2/4. If he was going to betray the Patriots by "becoming" Liquid they would see him as a traitor no matter what since "his body was taken over by Liquid's mind" or something. if it was to get into the AI's with Big Boss's genes or something that wouldn't make sense because Ocelot just was pretending to be Liquid mentally not physically (aside from the arm? but in that case why go the extra mile to pretend to be Liquid). I just never really saw the point to all of it since he could have done what he wanted by being himself

    Fulton Recovery System (Metal Gear Solid V)

    Hey team,

    I could have sworn that from the very beginning of the game you are given a few Fulton Recovery balloons. However in this play through I seem to have none to start the game. Am I wrong in thinking this or will I come across them along the journey?

    Just completed MGS2 and have a question about what I think Otacon said

    During one of the last missions where you have to protect E.E as she crosses over, during the cut scene, iirc hearing Otacon say he had relations with her mother. Isn't that his sister, and his mother too? Then followed to say the father killed himself because of it.

    Or did I hear that entire part incorrectly?
