    A lot of players complain about how repetitive the game is, the boring story, lack of character development, and I don't get it at all.

    For me, the game wasn't repetitive one bit. I always found myself tackling missions in different ways using various weapons/gear. Going out in the open world looking for soldiers to fulton is still very fun and the overall game has one of the most addictive gameplay loops ever in my opinion.

    I found the story very engaging and actually got emotional at several points. The ending was strong and it tied in perfectly to the 1987 MSX2 game. I feel like the people saying the game doesn't have a story weren't paying attention or are just too obsessed with that fake narrative about the game being unfinished. Yes, the game is indeed FINISHED. The team has gone on record multiple times saying it was finished and Hideo Kojima himself was surprised that players felt that way. The game even had a decent amount of cutscenes.

    My Venom had so much character development for someone who rarely spoke. His actions were always louder than his words. The cutscenes between him and Paz which showcase the PTSD and mental torture are some of the most powerful scenes ever in the franchise.

    To top it all off, the actual gameplay and animations are incredibly fluid. Just the run cycle alone is the best I've ever seen. The next best thing in terms of straight up responsive gameplay would be The Last of Us 2.

    The criticisms I see of the game sound nothing like the game I played.

    I left it at mission 23 The White Mamba... I was having a blast up until then but shit happened. Any tips for this specific play through? I want to complete the game while getting as many weapons and equipment as possible.

    Fun MGSV missions for beginners?

    I've made it my life's goal to try to get my FPS playing friend to like Metal Gear, and I think that MGSV would probably align the most with what he likes, but what missions would be fun for him as a beginner for me to show him? The hospital one definitely wouldn't hold his attention and off the top of my head I can't think of many fun infiltration missions (I could GZ but I feel like that's less geared towards the "hey you can use guns now without getting completely destroyed because we accept different play styles now" approach and more just a normal mission as setup for TPP).

    Where do the lines: "Executive CQC!", "Put a Fucking grenade in there!" and "What the Hell is that!?" come from? From the voice it sounds like Kiefer Sutherland but I can't find the moments in game where he said it.

    O know the best way to play 2,3,PO and 4 is on the PS3, and 5 on modern consoles/pc. But what about 1? I do have twin snakes but is the PS3 port better?

    Discussion : How would the Metal Gear franchise characters react if they met their fans?

    I just wondered.... what if they met us? We are their fans! Would they be happy? Would they be annoyed? We know that Solid Snake would dismiss us since he have fanboys/fangirls in his reality. But what about Big Boss, Kaz, Ocelot, Psycho Mantis, The Boss, Raiden, Bladewolf, Sniper Wolf, Otacon. FOXHOUND, etc? Would Liquid Snake be moved by his fans or would he use them for his gains? How the girls react to their fan? I am particulary interested in Quiet since she is the most beloved/hated character in the franchise and she got a lot of admirers (especially guys with a crush on her or guys that would like to have "special fun" with her). Hope it will be a funny discussion, full of jokes! Use your immagination! Enjoy!
