    Metal Gear Solid Disc 2 Not Working. Please Help!

    So I have an original PS1 copy of Metal Gear Solid that I've been playing through on my PS2 slim. After defeating Sniper Wolf and completing disc 1, the game prompts me to insert disc 2 and press start. After doing so, the game fades to black and then.... nothing. It just stays black. I've searched long and hard on the internet and found that many others had this issue, but I couldn't find a solution. How do I fix this?

    Couple of things I've already checked:

    1. Both discs are clean and free of scratches. Disc 2 loads perfectly fine on its own if I start the console with it, so I don't think it's a problem with the disc itself.
    2. I've already tried it on my fat PS2 as well, and it gives me the same problem.
    3. Both of the discs match. They aren't different editions or anything.

    Question about FOB infiltration

    Hello everyone

    I've been playing Metal Gear Solid V for a while now and recently unlocked all the online FOB stuff. I don't understand much of it but all I know at the moment is that you can infiltrate other player's motherbase and they can do the same too.

    So my question is: Do you become OP and unkillable once you are very high level?

    I'm asking this because recently while I was playing the game, a player infiltrated my motherbase. I tried so hard to kill him (literally sprayed till I had no ammo left and also hit him with rocket launcher twice) but he just wasn't dying even after all that. The player easily bullied me the whole time, killing me and waiting for me to respawn and then killing me again instantly, till there was only 2-3 minutes left in the timer. After that the guy just left taking so many of my staff and resources. Later I checked his ranks and both of his Espionage rank and PF ranks were in 3 digit numbers while both of my ranks are in 6 digit numbers. So is it level difference that made him so OP?

    Hey all!

    I'm looking to sell some of my collection, including a bunch of MGS figures. These were (I believe) the first run back in 1998 or so. When displayed (in box) they were on a shelf in my room as a kid, and mostly in a plastic bin since around 2010. They deserve to be displayed and enjoyed, and not stored!

    Looking to get $25 each, or $150 for everything. Shipping is at actual cost (will provide receipt) from 33193 (Miami, FL).

    Hi everyone! I thought this would be a fun question.

    I myself am more excited at the idea of new projects related to the MGS series than retreading old ground, but I know for a lot of you, the idea or remakes and remasters is quite a popular one.

    So I got to thinking, how would you feel if they did a remaster of the 2D era. NOT by making it 3D, but doing stuff like improving the game interface to look less 1980s and pixelated, adding in a voice cast along with an expanded script and basically adding in a lot of little stuff to make it look better and basically be a better experience for a modern audience.

    Is that an idea you'd like?
