    I was just think how different he would be. In MGS2 he was kind of cocky and lame (did you say nerd) but his torture and loss of his human body made me cold, depressed, and almost bitter.

    In addition, it almost massively unearthed his Jack the Ripper persona.

    So the question I have is what do you like would happen if Snake rescued him before the surgical cyborg transformation could take place?

    Closer to his family, still despondent, dead?

    MGS V Mission 45 Bug help *Spoilers*

    I have arrived to Mission 45, my current objective is to transport Quiet to the LZ. Thing is, Quiet is not there. I know she should be invisible, but she just isn't there, snake isn't even carrying anything. I tried loading checkpoint, I tried to restart THE WHOLE mission, restart game, nothing. I can't even leave the mission. DIAMOND DOGS, HELP ME!

    My idea for a fangame

    The game would be the length of a videogame demo, and would take place in 1996, between Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Focusing on Snake's time as a mercenary, Snake decides to "dispose" of the cruel head of a small South American country. Snake sneaks in and assassinates the villain, unaware that one of the young victims eventually grows up to become Screaming Mantis!

    I think a Metal Gear Solid announcement on April 30th may be imminent.

    Many of you have seen the Tom Olsen twitter page by now, linked here: https://mobile.twitter.com/TheTomOlsen

    Basically, it's a relatively new Twitter account that appears to tweet as if he's an employee on the Big Shell prior to the events of MGS2. If you scroll through his tweets, you'll see he posts updates relatively frequently, and he never breaks character. There are images and videos, with some containing interactions between this character and Emma Emmerich as well as strange, Patriots-esque "glitch tweets." It may be just a fan of MGS2 having some fun, except for the fact that the official Metal Gear account quote tweeted one of his tweets, adding that they'll be having "visitors" soon: https://mobile.twitter.com/Metalgear/status/1382399008816046081

    Fast forward a bit, and one of Tom's latest tweets mentioned that President Johnson will be visiting Big Shell this week, and it's going to "be an adventure, for sure!" as seen here: https://imgur.com/WyWJ90y

    Add on to the fact that Tom Olsen's birthday is listed as April 30th, a significant date in MGS2's story, one day after the Big Shell incident and, coincidentally (or not so much), Friday of this week. Tom's tweets seem to be hinting at a meta-advertising campaign leading up to the real life date of the events of MGS2.

    This of course could all be nothing, but considering the heavy slew of rumors regarding MGS remakes, ports and projects over the last year, it isn't out of the realm of possibility that this is a very real attempt at a viral advertising campaign by Konami, and we could see something as early as this week.
