    They clearly both respected eachother for who they are
    and what they accomplished. But we aren't really given much of a look into their weird relationship. All we are shown is that they hate eachother badly with Eli hating his twin brother/clone more so than David. Yet this hardcore hate they share appears to not have been all there in the end of MGS4 as when Liquid Ocelot finally dies Solid's expression of what appears to be shock and sadness kinda says it all.

    Discussion: Was one of the goals of the writing of MGSV to make the audience less fond of Kazuhira Miller?

    Spoiler alert hopefully no one needs it.

    So in MGS1 "Master" or Miller is Snakes mentor. You find out he had been killed by liquid and its kinda a bummer.

    But in MGSV I gotta say, even with all the crap that they went through, Miller was being very overly dramatic compared to the rest of the cast.

    "I'm not gonna get a super badass robot arm and help my cause until my cause is complete"

    c'mon man.

    And its made clear that he left Big Boss and his cause in malace

    Now I have only played the main MGS series. No 2D or PSP games so I have no Miller experience there.

    Idk, just in my own experience of playing the series, I was bummed that Matser was killed in MGS1 (or learned he was dead the whole time). Then after playing MGSV I had no complaints.

    What do you all think?
