    Anybody else start with the pizza hut demo (circa 2000) for MGS? I must've seen the Darpa chief have a heart attack 47 times before my mother drove me to the game store and bought me the actual 2 disc game, after she realized I've been obsessively playing half the game looking for secrets or any other area I could explore

    Where should I go from MGR:R?

    Hey all, I recently got Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance on steam during the Autumn Sale, and I gotta say... I fucking LOVED this game. This is my first Metal Gear game/experience, and now I reallllllllly wanna get balls deep into this franchise. I really, reaallllllly like Raiden's character and how he was a cool cyborg ninja! However I did notice something, the game references Raiden's past several times. Like how he was called Jack the Ripper, and he was extremely empathetic/emotional when he learned of the children being sold off to turn into soldiers. That being said, would I be OK playing Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty right now? Is there a canonical timeline that I should play by order in, or can I just jump right into MGS2:SOL?

    Beat Mgs3 for the first time

    I can see why everyone holds this game in such high regard. While I consider the story to be as good as Mgs2 and should be played for that factor alone I can't say that i enjoyed it as much as Mgs2. Dont get me wrong its still a fantastic game in its own right and it should be approached as its own thing but the complaints that i have with the game prevent me from saying that its my favorite so far. I dont like it as much as Mgs2 but i loves it a hellva lot more than Mgs1. Next up in my marathon is Peacewalker
