    Metal Gear in RPG maker

    So I have always kinda wanted to take a bunch of RPG maker plugins and scripts and make like a Metal Gear type base to build off of so anyone wanting to make there own (2D) style metal gear could have the resources to do that. I would add the ability to Fulton enemies and try to implement some sort of CQC system, see how well it works with the limitations.

    Anyway I am not asking for help making it or anything I just wanted to see what the community thought about my idea

    Now a 3D based one seems way cooler but that is kinda out of my wheelhouse of expertise

    Now that Mgs1 is on GOG I've got it on PC and it is such a joy to play it again. It brings back so many memories of playing it when it first came out.

    I'm at the stage where I'm inputting the PAL keys and there's so much backwards and forwards. When I played all those years ago it didn't phase me at all but now I'm thinking 'Oh man, I've got to go all the way back to the blast furnace! I hope I get it first time."

    Do you think we've (gamers) have become less patient or tolerant of to-ing and fro-ing.

    I really am loving playing it again. The story is still so good.

    [not to mention leaving a wounded friend being while you go and find a sniper rifle, only to have to make the return journey again later after a chat with ocelot.]
