    In 1988, Konami released an official gamebook sequel to MG1 NES, taking place between MG1 NES and Snake's revenge, you can see that Snake's appearance is starting to look more similar to his SR self.

    How did solid snake get that navy seal uniform?

    So snake entered the big shell wearing his sneaking suit, but we see him next disguised as a navy seal. How did he get that uniform? There wouldn't have been enough time to strip a dead navy seal of his uniform whilst everyone was getting slaughtered by vamp. So maybe he tranq'd a seal and took his clothes ? If so where the hell is that seal during the big shell incident and also, wouldn't the other seals notice a strange guy tagging along that they don't know but is supposedly a member of seal team 10.

    You know what seems really inefficient now? Walking with your back against the wall in the older games.

    Im thinking and I can't even think of a use for that anymore. Laying prone from far away, crouching (especially behind an object) or just normal walking makes more sense.

    How does putting your back against the wall and walking sideways even help? Lol.

    In 4 it made sense because it was done much better with Octocamo. But in games like let's say MGS1 and MGS2? Seems very useless.

    Especially that move where you are walking against the wall (what the hell was this even called?) and you get to the corner and hold square and one of the triggers (forgot) and Snake fully exposes himself (lmao) with an aimed gun. You would have to be in a needle in a haystack situation for that shit to be of any use xD. He can pop in and out of cover around a corner with that move but him popping back into cover (and popping out) is so slow that you'll just get shot up like a dumbass unless you're using a gun like the patriot and not being stealthy so that's useless too.
