    I just bought MGSV. I avoided it because of the mixed reviews.. dumb of me. I've played most of them too.

    Holy **** that intro was bananas. Almost hard to go through. What a bad day.

    I just got to mother base and unfortunately I have to goto work right now. I just wanna say I am incredibly impressed so far and I can't believe I waited until now to finally play. I haven't been this excited to come home and play games in a while. The game is definitely kicking my ass too already which is kinda nice.

    I've played 1-4. I never got a chance to play peace walker. I still need a refresher. What YouTube video would you recommend I watch just to feel more caught up in the lore?

    What Is Your Favorite Series Boss Type?

    What I mean by that is that there's a plethora of different bosses in the series that distinguishes themselves mechanically that we can pretty much break these boss fights down into types of fights we experience

    Some examples can be, Sniper Battles (The End, Quiet, Crying Wolf), Gimmick Centric (Psycho Mantis, The Pain, Vamp), Vehicular Takedown (Every Metal Gear, Harrier), Team Fights (The Skulls, Ocelot Unit), etc.

    MSX Games Missing Sound Effects on PS3?

    Decided to play through all the games in order of release starting with the original MSX versions included on the Legacy Edition on PS3.

    Finished Metal Gear and noticed that the weapons have absolutely no sound effects. Didn't put much thought into it. Figured it was the suppressor.

    Now I'm on Metal Gear 2 and there's still no sound effects on the weapons. This happen to anyone else?

    And, more importantly, anyone have a fix?

    MGS1 Horror Flashback

    I was taking a dump and all of a sudden remembered helping a friend who was stuck on MGS1 when we were younger. Of course it was the bloody PAL card thing he couldn't work out. Anyway, there I was on top of Metal Gear after loading his save file; the dumb fuck didn't have a Socom Suppressor!!?? I honestly couldn't believe he had got this far without it. Safe to say I went all the way back to the start to get it for him.

    Am I being too judgemental looking back at this or should he not play MGS games again?
