    Anyone who downloaded Metal Gear Social Ops and still have all the files?

    Most metal gear games were saved over the years, even the weird metal gear solid mobile, metal gear solid touch and Metal Gear Arcade were saved on the internet. but there's one game that, for now, is impossible to play : Metal Gear Solid : Social Ops, the only MG game that would completely be considered "lost media".

    Social Ops was a spin off combining card games, gacha elements and very weird stealth segments on Mobile. It was developed by the mobile team of Konami in collaboration with GREE. It was released in 2012 and used elements from almost all metal gear games.

    The game however didn't do very well and was shut down in early 2014, not even two years after the initial release. the game had some 3D phases as you can see on those screenshots and on this video

    the game itself likely would be impossible to play unless someone find a debug mode, but i still would like to decompile all the files (3D models, textures, videos... ) and post them online for curious MG fans.

    but here's the main problem, and why i didn't do it already : Even if you download the APK online, you almost have no files in it, because it's one of those mobile games that install files AFTER downloading the initial app, and the server for the games are shut down so it's impossible to retrieve them. the game was JP only so not a lot of people have it, and since it died 6 years ago, a lot of people also probably uninstalled the app.

    But at least SOME people must still have the files on their phone, so, if anyone have them, please post them here or DM me.

    Can anyone help me shed some light on what this is exactly? I know that disc 3: Existence came with the special edition version of MGS3, but the only cases I've found has the PS2 logo on the cover and the copy I've found doesn't. Did this version release seperately from the special edition?

    Why are names read out on the nuclear disarment cutscene ?

    I just recently booted up mgsv again on my Xbox and was surprised to see this hidden cut scene or whatever but what confused me the most is random gamer tags got read out on the screen. Can someone explain who they are ?
