Which Metal Gear package do I need to buy?

Hello all!

I finally acquired a PS3 to play the remaining Metal Gear games I haven't played. (I already own and have played Twin Snakes, and Phantom Pain)

I'm looking at one of these two:

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection

I keep looking at what these include and for whatever reason I can't find a solid answer.

What I'm looking to acquire:

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty(NOT the VR missions one)

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater(NOT the VR missions one)

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

I would like to also play Metal Gear 1, Metal gear 2, and Peace Walker although not as much as the previous 3.

I've also heard one or both of these collections come with glitches and issues that the original games don't? For example my friend was telling me on one of them for the Metal Gear Solid 1 fight with Psycho Mantis doesn't work for some reason? (Not that this matters because I already have a working copy of Metal Gear Solid 1).

Just wanted to see which of the two contains what I want as well as if the games have any issues.
