    Just finished my very 1st playthrough of MGS3. Man, despite of the clunky controls of the game, I still managed to finish it thanks to the story and the OSTs as well. Welp, time for my 2nd playthrough of MGSPW on the PSP now. :) (Random fact: PW was my 1st MGS game I've played.)

    MG2, far better than expected

    So even though I am technically a series veteran, last week was the first time I gave the OG Metal Gear games a go. MG2 in particular impressed me, but it needs some updates to fit in current canon. So my question is to you people, what story/lore would need to be changed to fit the now whole Metal Gear story from MGS3 till MGS4?

    Tips on playing MGS3 on hard mode?

    I was an hour or two in on hard mode and was disappointed that there was no radar. So I switched to normal and again was disappointed because the game was a bit… too easy.

    I might pick up where I left off on hard, but before that I wanna ask a few things:

    1. Would killing off guards (stealthily, and then hiding their bodies of course) alert their comrades?
    2. Later on, is there any gadgets that helps in terms of detecting enemies?
    3. What are some ways to distract/lure guards?

    I've only played MGS2 and MGS5, if that helps.
