    So I've been playing MGS2 since 2007 and have clocked up more hours than I'd care to admit (At least a month of my life) across various platforms the game has released on.

    Now replaying it to celebrate its 20th anniversary, after that many play throughs' I've only just noticed when clearing the strut C dining hall bathrooms following an alert phase, guards will knock on the bathroom stall before opening the door.

    Not a major revelation but a neat little detail for a 20 year old game I thought!

    Why would Venom snake want to kill Solid if Miller is training him

    So I've just finished playing all the mainline Mgs games including peace Walker and one thing is bugging me, at the end of Mgs5 Miller is told the truth about venom snake and resents big boss for it so he goes on to train Solid snake to take down big boss, and is why Miller is "Master" in Mgs1 but that means in metal gear 1 venom snake is actually the one trying to get solid killed, even though he works with Miller (unless their relationship got split up I don't know why this would happen) I know the tape big boss leaves to venom is the mission from metal gear 1 so did he do this behind Millers back and just thought that he was training him to kill the real big boss after all?

    Was snake the villain of MGS2?

    So, basically, I'm compiling an analysis/theories into a google slides, however, I've come across a theory that snake was the villain in MGS2. When trying to look this theory up, I dont come across any real evidence for MGS2. Could someone repost the evidence towards this theory, or any other fan theories about MGS2 that I could make.

    Can someone refresh my memory on how Snake is aware that the Patriots are behind the SOP system during the meeting with Rat Patrol 01? I don't think Campbell mentions The Patriots to Snake in the briefing, so does he know/assume because of the events of MGS 2?
