    Short Storytime: TIL, that one of our telephone hold song on our office was ACTUALLY featured on MGS3...

    So, there's this one person behind me (not on our team) is calling for the IT via the AVAYA, a telephone brand, because her monitor is having a glitch (probably of old age or some problems on the wire). So, of course, here in our office, our IT were somewhat busy at the moment so she was on hold and put it on loudspeaker as she waits for her call. 3 of those songs were Jazz songs which I don't know about... but then, outcomes the 4th song, now with a woman singing with a soothing voice. Before, I don't know what song or where it came from since 2018 working here on the office... Until I've played MGS3 and finished playing it just 2 days ago and I realized that song... was a theme song from Snake and EVA having a dry hump session near the end of the game!! So after all this time, especially when I had a problem on my PC, that song was already there?!

    So, up til now, I still can't believe it and just laugh it off. Sadly, I can't record it on my phone because... you know, it's work related and I don't want to get fired. So, to make sure if that was the song, I searched on YouTube on my phone while I was on break (as of right now) and this is the song that was playing on our office. And it matched every single lyric and tone on our phone! I just can't believe it and I was smiling like an idiot.

    So yeah... to the man who put that song as our telephone hold song... I salute him/her. I can't believe there's also a MGS3 fan in our office!!

    Recently replayed MGSV. This game is undoubtedly a finished product, and a great one (obviously spoilers)

    I was as guilty as the next guy back at release for calling this game "unfinished" and being super disappointed at the whole thing. But after some proper digestion, some much more tame expectations, and a better understanding of the game's themes, I do truly believe all we are missing is episode 51, Chico, and battle gear.

    Playing through chapter 1 felt entirely natural and had a good pace and buildup. Chapter 2 tying up the loose ends and continuing the theme of "revenge = loss" was very well done and I think Kojima truly took a risk with it. You lose everything in chapter 2, even after you get your revenge on Skully, really driving home the point of it being a hopeless and painful endeavor. While the game is very fun, it thematically did not send the player home "happy" and it does its job so well. I have my qualms with Kojima's writing but he is a thematic genius. V is so unique in my eyes due to how it differs from the rest of the series.

    I've heard so many lofty and unrealistic "leaks" about this game supposedly having "at least 2 more chapters" and I just find it silly. Yes, I know. Chapter 3 title card. That was probably tied to Paz stuff that was once more story relevant, or maybe nukes. Idk. But it's just unrealistic to me that this game had any more planned for it beyond what we got/know is missing. It's a 30-40 hour long experience to get through chapter 1 as is. And there's supposed to be "another half a game?" Nah guys. Sorry.

    MGSV has grown to be perhaps my favorite in the series, and this is coming from someone who's played everything in release order on release date since MGS1. V has come to. This game fuckin' rocks.
