METAL GEAR SOLID A MGS4 illustration |
- A MGS4 illustration
- Big Boss in Ghost Recon Breakpoint!
- I can't be the only one who would love some Miller's Maxi Buns, right?
- Always wanted to draw The Boss so here's a fanart!
- I just learned that Stan "the man" Lee dressed as Revolvor Ocelot to introduce Kojima at a game award show. This is now my favorite picture on the internet.
- “Metal gear didn’t invent stealth, it merely defined it.” Found this old mag while moving.
- Some of my old personal swag, I think some pieces are pretty rare. Nothing is for sale, so don't ask... :)
- I think that I found the reference for two of the guns in MGSV. I think that the AM-MRS 4 is based off of the AR-18 and the Riot SMG is based off of the Venezuelan cavim orinoco II.
- The parallels between these two scenes in the series finally just occurred to me (Spoilers)
- Full desert gear activate!
- Dr. Benton Quest as Naked Snake
- Here’s the ending of every Metal Gear game
- You guys all of you guys influenced me to bust the old PSP And play MSG1 at work
- Extend the Gambling Act to cover Loot Boxes
- I heard that Big Boss used to have a manly beard and sometimes a badass chinstrap, I'm growing one just like it.... Beard? Son, those are fairytales, Saladin never had facial hair....
- One of my favorites artworks of Yoji Shinkawa for the 25th anniversary
- Which do I get, Portable Ops or Portable Ops 2?
- I just bought ground zero because it was on sale and then I realize definitive edition was also on sale for 2 euros more
- Warning for soundtrack collectors...
- Bought MGSV day one, beat it three times, but then sold it with my PS3. I just bought a PS4 Pro and planning on rebuying the game again. Will it be like reliving the legend all over again?
- How would you rate the final battle between Raiden and Armstrong?

Warning for soundtrack collectors... Posted: 18 Aug 2021 05:28 AM PDT There are a few taiwanese labels that have created counterfeits for all of the CDs Konami has released for the MGS series. I found out all of my Metal Gear CDs have come from either Miya Records or K-O Records. As I understand it, both labels originate from Taiwan and specialize in mimicking Japanese releases. I guess the odd thing is that they don't attempt to perfectly imitate the official releases, and sometimes even look visually more appealing than the Konami releases (as far as front and back covers go). But as someone that bought them all before I was serious about my collection, I'm out a little bit of money. I will say, the sound quality is not what gave it away for me (honestly, Miya fooled me for a couple of years). I was verifying my copies on Discogs and found that they were all fakes (every soundtrack I had from MGS1 to Peace Walker). I even bought a few of them in-person from some second-hand shops in my city and they all turned out to be Miya imitations. This warning is more for the obsessive fans that want everything official. Listings on eBay have used the official catalog number and then the photos show the counterfeits, so diligence is key in tracking down copies of the real deal. I'm sure there aren't that many that would mind the difference, but hopefully this helps anyone that cares! [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Aug 2021 03:53 AM PDT I remember back then the game still played and looked really well. The only bad thing about it that stood out in my mind was the scene where they flew into Africa for the first time in a way to show off all this amazing scenery and it looked like crap... the trees literally looked like cardboard cutouts. There were some bugs, rendering problems, and crashes too but they did not happen that often. My favorite bug was one time I was on the helicopter and I turned to look at Quiet and she was completly white and drained of all her textures... she looked exactly like the Wii Fit trainer! With all its problems, it still was one of my very favorite games. I just bought a PS4 pro and I am planning on buying the definitive edition for 5 bucks during this current sale. I hope this feels like a big upgrade. [link] [comments]
