    Is it possible to play MGS1 on PS4?

    I've been interested in MGS for a while now, but can't find anywhere to play the first game. I see that most of the games are available on PS now but the first isn't available on PS now or the PS store. I'm a newer gamer with just a PS4, Nintendo Switch, and an apple laptop. Is there any way I can play the first game?

    If not, can I start right at the second game, or should I go straight to the third (as I've heard suggested online). What would be your recommendation to get the best all-around experience playing the MGS series for a newbie? Sorry if this is asked a lot!

    A Netflix Metal Gear animated TV show?

    I just finished watching the Netflix anime Castlevania and Resident Evil series really enjoyed them both. It got me thinking about the Metal Gear series and how awesome it would be if Netflix jumped on and did one for Metal Gear.

    Maybe it would actually need to be 3D animation like the Netflix Resident Evil as opposed to the Castlevania style but regardless I still would love an adaptation. I know there has been talking of a live-action show/film but I honestly think a live-action would somehow only come with compromises like it being turned into some terrible military cop procedural. I think animation is the way to go.

    Does anyone else wish TPP bonus/extra mission objectives were a bit more relevant?

    I just recently reloaded GZ and have found that I guess you could classify them as extra objectives were so much more relevant to the story and engaging.

    GZ main mission has a few cool bonus objectives regarding tapes. Chico's tape 3 is a good example of being directly engaging as it tells you where to find Paz. Then you also have the garbage bin tape and prisoner dialogue.

    The intel operative one has the initial interrogation-fake tape which you can finish there. Or you can initial interrogation-fake tape/see camera trap-reinterrogate-find bald guy.

    Then destroy the gun placements has a whole side op of rescuing the prisoner.

    I know TPP has some extra objectives that influence story like listening to conversations and extracting targets over killing them and the Viscount mission is pretty interesting but there is a lot of strange things that don't mean anything. Im also not saying everything has to be relevant.

    An example is phantom limbs extra objective "Extract the Wakh Sind commander". There's really not anything apart from a soldier you get from this.

    I think a good alternative would be that Ocelot doesn't know where Miller is but that the village is a good place to start, the intel being a tape of the commander interrogating Miller with a translator. (To get around the lack of Russian translator yet) in this he can mention he's the commander of these barracks (so you know they're Wakh Sind) mention the truck delivery and that he'll be moved to Da Ghwandai Khar. This way you can head straight there to rescue him or head to Wakh Sind to the commander. Ocelot will let you know he's in a beret. You can interrogate him and start at mini cutscene like the gz interrogation where he'll tell you the building or you can extract him and get an extra tape or something after the mission.

    Guys... i just came to the Bridge between shell one and two... WTF IS HAPPENING on plot twist after another holy cow I'm damn speechless right now! Solidus shows up You fight him He lost his Eye RAY SHOWS UP Vamp's running on the water Pliskin IS snake(obv) The Corpse that has been found is solidus' Corpse Snake never died They have identical DNA's

    I already played 3 and the majority of the other Games and it's my favorite series of all time (playing since 4 Months roundabout)

    I've never excepted that this Game steals my breath over and over again God fucking damn, can someone please tell me HOW THE FUCK KOJIMA IS SUCH A BRILLIANT GOD

    My highest weapon grade is 7 (that grenade launcher) and i don't have any higher grades what do i need to do? It doesn't show any more upgrades for the weapons that i can craft

    Which MGS character deserves a spinoff game?

    For arguement's sake, let's say we're talking about a Triple A spinoff, not something like a mobile game or a arcade version of Donkey Kong with Emma jumping over mines at big shell.

    I'm guessing most people would say Boss deserves a game, but I'm not really sure. I feel like I already got enough story from her arc. She does have CQC abilities but I can't picture how much fun a stealth game would be with her carbine handgun.

    Personally, I think that there's more to Olga's story and it would be pretty badass to be the cybernetic ninja. And she kind of fits the MGS mold of a protagonist like that slowly realizes that she's a pawn in a larger conspiracy

    Eva might be a good main character too, she has no shortage of questionable loyalties. I dunno though, Eva seems to be working for herself only, so that might change what a spinoff game would feel like.

    Goddammit I spent 3 hours writing articles about which game hates Kojima the most and none of it made sense when I read it. So;

    I think politically correct games are against the entirety of Japanese games but on this particular case, I think Battlefield series is the main rival of Metal Gear franchise

    I'm also confused on how Gabe "oh by the way i host the game that you were ripping in MGS4 (CS:GO)" Newell is friend with Hideo "not FPS, it's MGS" Kojima.

    Also I'm quoting from the infamous article of Agnes Kaku (the lady who translated the entirety MGS2 and called it bullshit), when I say Kojima appreciates Tom Clancy to the level of ripping off, so don't go yelling he hates Splinter Cell.

    And Kojima posted the poster of Starfield on his Instagram, a Bethesda original exclusively made for Microsoft's gaming platforms; something that legally he's not allowed to get the money to advertise; so trust me both Kojima and Bethesda like each other, plus remember that huge robot under the White House that Brotherhood of Steel captured? Isn't it jusy Metal Gear as balls? How can they hate him?

    And speaking Microsoft, Cliffy-B had named GEARS of war after metal GEAR, so yeah they don't hate him too. As for that dude from Halo that criticized Quiet during the controversy, don't forget that despite having "such woke staff" they still struggle with Cortana's nudity controversy.

    Umm that's it which series conflicts with Kojima's line of reasoning; give me a name and a good explanation

    Oooh I almost forgot, Russia's government really hates Kojima (and I guess Iran's; since I live in it?)
