    in the past, you could accept the policy, then disconnect while in game, then the next time you connected it would ask you once again, and it would be like you never connected. this was before they updated their privacy policy.

    i just tried to do this, because i wanted to get my gz stuff and then disconnect again, but despite disconnecting in game and quitting, now it's automatically logging me in without asking me anymore. is there any way to unaccept the policy, or did i just irreversibly alter my save file?

    I know there's the default khaki, green, black, white, and blue in the base game, but iirc you unlock more after beating the game once. Thanks!

    [SPOILERS] Are the events of The Phantom Pain referenced in any previous game?

    This might sound like an odd question.

    So I finally just beat MGSV. Great game. But I'm curious if any part of what happened in it was referenced in any of the previous games (I've played them all except MGS4). Obviously MGSV wasn't planned until after Peace Walker was finished, but was there ever any point in any other game that referenced Big Boss' career, or even the Diamond Dogs, that MGSV expanded upon?

    MGSV Novelization translation? (2021)

    I know this question was asked years ago on this subreddit but I thought I would ask again in case something has changed. Apparently there's a MGSV novelization that was only released in Japan written by Hitori Nojima. AFAIK there's not a complete translation that I can find, only bits and pieces. (will link to the ones I found below)

    Is there a complete translation of this novel out there? The bits of translation that I have read are really good, which is why I'm surprised there isn't a complete fan translation publicly available (from what I can find). Any pieces of translation that are available that I haven't linked would be appreciated as well.

    Does Big Boss really not know what Zero did for him? *MGSV + MGS4 SPOILERS*

    One of the tragedies people often bring up in response to the ending of MGSV is how Big Boss died at the end of MGS4 not knowing how much Zero actually cared for him...until you recall that Ocelot left a tape (Truth Tapes —Report to Big Boss: Zero Has Been Attacked [2]) for BB in which he mentions that Zero went out of his way to keep BB safe, and obviously BB is in the know on the body double plan after he wakes up, so...what's up with that? Am I supposed to believe that he just didn't listen to these tapes or just missed that part? He sends Venom that one tape at the end and then afterwards you get the Truth tapes, so I always figured the in-universe explanation was that he also had those Truth tapes sent to Venom as well. I never see anyone bring up this glaring plothole, or is there something I'm missing?

    Is The Boss bandana Solid's bandana?

    After Peace Walker, Naked snake trowed away the boss bandana in the river, and in MGS5 it is showed as a item with the description that it were recovered from there. Was that just something uncanon to have more content to the game or Venom acctually has the boss bandana? And more, in the firs classical Metal Gear, Solid has no bandana, but in MG2 Solid snake and in the first MGS he has, wich make me believe that he took from Venom. Can anyone confirm me all of this?

    Why do people hate the phantom pain so much?

    I've noticed that people on this subreddit really hate the phantom pain, and was wondering why?

    The story leaves a little to be desired, but the insane gameplay more then makes up for it for me.

    Also, this is my first metal gear game, and I was wondering what Metal Gear game I should play next. (I'm on Xbox if that helps)
