    Is MGS5 worth playing despite it being supposedly unfinished?

    MGS5 is the only game in the series that I have never played (although, I must admit that I never finished Peace Walker....), and the reason for that is that I have always been scared to play and enjoy the game only for it to abruptly cut a some point, never concluding the story. I'm the kind of player who prioritize the story above anything else, so even if the gameplay is amazing, if the story just gets left on some kind of weird cliffhanger, it'll completely ruin the experience for me. So, is it worth playing or will I only end up being mad and regret buying it?

    (Also, if I do end up playing it, do I really need to finish Peace Walker first or will the story make sense without it?)

    MGS1 patch on PC

    I've never played an MGS game so I'm really interested in starting my journey now that the first 2 games are on PC. I've heard that there's a patch that is basically necessary for MGS2 so I'm wondering if there's a patch that I need for MGS1. If not then I'm just going to play the game straight from GOG.

    Got myself a PS3 last week just so I could play the entire main Metal Gear series in a single console. One week later this little collection goal was achieved, and I'm super excited to finally be able to play from MGS4 onwards. :)

    So I've done a marathon of the games again. Now I'm at the final boss fight and the scene before always gets me. That steal guitar plucking away in the background gives me chills everytime. I think its fair to say its the most epic boss fight of the entire series, maybe The End could rival it.

    But for me it's Snake vs Liquid, with Snake giving me even more chills with his battle cry when he shouts "LIQUID!".

    It just oozes epicness.

    I may upset some fans with a section I have planned for my MGS3 vid but I’m so sick of people trying to say 3 and GZ are simulations. They are not. I’m going to finally rage on this theory in the video. But I’m curious how many people even bought this theory in the first place?
