He gets the leading role in a game that other voice actors had no faith in and made fake names for. All while being recorded in some dude's closet because they had no budget.

Kojima makes him audition for MGS2 and MGS3, despite Hayter's fan approval and his name now being synanomous with Solid Snake.

* Dude coughs up his own money for an updated version of MGS1 (and was apparently directed by Michael Bay on coke, but regardless)

Despite the absolutely ride-or-die loyalty he's shown to the franchise, Gets replaced by Sutherland for literally no reason other than Kojima saying he didn't like David's face (No, really) while Konami used fan outrage as a catalyst for a shit ton of free advertising.

Has now been reduced to selling Snake's voice for Toyota commercials and voicing the angry shark in "The Flash" (have you seen it? Neither have I)
