Posted: 20 Dec 2019 03:24 PM PST It's where I'm getting into that warehouse, and I swim up to some piers. The End has his healthbar in the top right corner, and the game says the task is to try and kill him. I saved the game there, and now that I've booted it back up, he's nowhere to be seen. What would've happened if I'd gone ahead and attacked him? Is this like another little easter egg, like if you leave the game for a week during your bossfight with him he'll die of old age? Posted: 20 Dec 2019 12:26 AM PST I've been marathoning the series chronologically and finished MG: 2 after probably years of playing it, I think I emulated it. Long enough ago for me to forget what it was like. Holy shit, how was a game made in 1990 so fucking good? Like MG:1 is fun, but MG: 2 is like a whole different beast. The soundtrack is incredible (Zanzibar Breeze is perfection), graphics are mental for 8bit, the story and the characters were amazingly fleshed out, and even though it would have been so frustrating to play with without a guide, it was so fucking fun (apart from the epic amount of backtracking which was obviously padding) So many times I forgot I was playing a game that was made 20 years ago. And you can definitely see the similarities between MG:2 and MGS and I don't blame them for recycling them. If you haven't played them yet, do it. They might be old games, but they are incredible experiences all the same. [link] [comments]
Best way to check out the series Posted: 20 Dec 2019 09:16 AM PST Hey. Really wanted to give MGS a shot, but haven't played any of them. I have a PC, a Vita and planning to get a PS3. Also, I have pretty limited concentration, and get tired of the same stuff pretty quickly. So, wanted to ask:
Thanks for the help! [link] [comments]
MGS2 on PC just erased my save file + other issues. Can anyone help? Posted: 20 Dec 2019 08:06 AM PST Hi. So I have the PC version of MGS2 on my laptop to play, using V's fix, because hey, I like the game so I wanna play it without digging through my room to find my old ps2. I was playing up until the beginning of the big shell chapter and I left the game. I adjusted some of my settings before I played today and not only have the sound effects become extremely quiet for no reason, but my save data is completely gone. I searched on the net for a fix to this but there seems to be little to no mention of save file wipes or this audio issue. Can anyone help? Im extremely irritated at this and any help to possibly getting this fixed would be a godsend. [link] [comments]
Metal Gear Rising on PC is Stuck at 59 FPS Posted: 20 Dec 2019 06:43 AM PST So I'm having an issue with MGR right now. Before someone asks I'm not targeting 120, only 60, but this one frame is causing massive issues. My monitor is 75hz, which I have reduced to a smooth 60. The issue here becomes that, when a game is capped, it tends to spread those frames across the entire second and, since 59 doesn't divide into 60 easily, it feels more like an inconsistent 40 fps. Is there anyway I can change this without mods? [link] [comments] |
