- I didn't die once during the boss fight with Solidus in the Harrier, but I've died so many times in this area right after. Imagine if the canon story was that Raiden and Snake beat the Harrier and then Raiden slipped on bird shit and fell to his death.
- Just finished mgs4 for the first time in almost 10 years and it’s still one of my top 3 favorite metal gear games.

- Does hd collection have a theater mode?
- I'm joining the club! How do so many people got this one? The Metal Gear Ray fight completely broke me, man
- I have been doing a challenge run of MGSV for a while, and I was wondering if anyone else has tried this?
- Is Big Boss sighs of sobbing at this moment, or i Just imaginating things?
- (13:48:48 time it took to complete it )possibly the most confusion I got ever was from this game
- Do we know who directed Snake's Revenge ?

Posted: 15 Nov 2019 10:50 AM PST I have been playing MGSV for months with the following set up. It is created utilizing mods and some self imposed rules. This includes: -MGSV Realism Mod (The main changes are that all guards have about 3x the sight and sound capabilities. The most important stats for me honestly is that enemies can start hearing you crouch walking at 10m away, and while crouched you can be spotted in the dark at about 40m away or so. Empty magazines can be heard from about a 35m radius away). This also changes the life bars of enemies and Snake, where you can only be shot twice and you'll die, this is the same for both guards and Snake. -I do not use the tranquilizer gun in this run. It would make it far too easy in my opinion, a big aspect I enjoy is that just about everything has a "risk" in this mod. If you shoot someone, someone will sure to have heard it and the whole base will go on alert, if you use stun/smoke grenades everyone will know and go on alert, if you try to quickly move in with CQC and use it then everyone will know. If you fulton someone, they'll all know. -I almost always aim for a minimal traces run here, as the game is objectively far easier if you just go in guns blazing. -I'll optionally limit the usage of my best overall tools. For example, I'll swap out empty magazines with bait bottles, since they have a usage limit and provide the same result. I have also been experimenting with no marking, and it makes it an entirely different game in my opinion. There's a lot of risk:reward based play here, and things here that you may never have thought about in the base game have big effects. For example, did you honestly ever consider light sources in the base game? I didn't, but the amplification they give the enemies for seeing you is so strong that you're basically spotted the second you walk into them. A particularly difficult map to complete is the oil facility, as there are light sources all over the map and you need to be incredibly precise with your movement to even get close to the separator tank and the other thing. I particularly enjoy how this map encourages you to find different entrances into a base. In the base game, I honestly used the path that the game kind of "guided" you into and this just doesn't work too well here. An example is the episode "C2W" where the by far best entrance is by a mountain that ejects you into the top of the map, it was satisfying to find that entrance and find a stealthy way in that isn't incredibly risky. I honestly just wanted a place to gush about how much fun I have with this game with this ruleset. It's incredibly intense, and requires me to think through difficult problems no matter what map I choose. [link] [comments] | ||
